This fund-raising activity is the first project undertaken by the community chapter of KAAKBAY-TPYD in Brgy. Calumpang. Under the able leadership of Chapter President Jeriel Rosales and the guidance of City Level P.I.O and SK Calumpang Chairman Mr. Floyd Dagum, the Rockrakan sa Calumpang Concert became the most attended and most successful of all activities scheduled on the week which commemorated the 12th anniversary of Barangay Calumpang. The trust and confidence given by Brgy. Chairman Cirilo Forones on the largest chapter of KAAKBAY so far has paid off.

       A total of nine local bands which came from as far as the municipality of Glan competed in the jampacked event. The third place winner was the Mikses Band of Mindanao State University - General Santos City which won a cash prize of PhP2,000.00, while the 2nd place winner was the 11th Floor Band, also from the Mindanao State University, which won a cash prize of PhP3,000.00. The first place winner was the Dodo's Band from Glan, which won PhP5,000.00.
