This month of May has been relatively
busy. For weeks past, we’ve been frantically patching
our schedules of wedding errands along with our work.
Come May 13, when Chiqui, sister of John were graciously
given the opportunity to visit hometown. To optimize
her visit and to keep the ball rolling we have coordinated
along all the other entourage people and took the rare
chance to pin down everyone to have their body measurements
taken that same night. Thereafter, John and I have spend
time to unwind with Chiqui and the rest of the family
members at Hardrock Makati. The experience was quite
a marathon, but, oh well, it was nonetheless a time
for us to savor the rare opportunity which we all enjoyed
ourselves altogether.

On May 17th, we zoomed our way for
another courtesy visit to one of our principal sponsors.
This one is also one of our “privilege”
opportunities to visit former ambassador of Brunei,
Mr. Enrique Zaldivar. Along with my dad, we hit the
road at around 9am on the way to Paranaque City. That
time also became a reminiscing time for good ol’
days with my dad and his kumpare. We have learned a
lot from their interaction especially the greatness
of honesty, integrity, amidst all the political affairs.
Humility was also pretty much displayed that John and
I will surely cherished.

Then in the afternoon, we have scheduled
another non-wedding errands to take time to join the
a kiddie party of John’s first nephew, Ghabe.
We ate our heart out from there and then onward for
the last pitch of strength for courtesy visit to Mrs.
Lourdes Evangelista. My mom and her have been great
colleagues so to make ourselves lot more at ease we
took time to really get to know our sponsors. And before
we left, we sealed our time with a prayer with Mrs.
Evangelista lead with their visiting pastor. At the
end of the day…we just all wanted to drop dead
in our bed. Whew! Watta week that had just passed!
After recharging for the night, on
the following day, May 19, Monday after our work we
visited Ptr. Omar. He is John’s church pastor
in Light of the World. He also worked as an attorney
as Chief legal officer in Chinabank in Makati. There
we paid a visit from his office and had a short chat.
It was an experience having get some real nice tips
obtaining wedding license and other necessary documents.
Hmm..maximizing our resources, ehh?! But it was surely
was a wonderful time to meet them one-on-one.
Our courtesy visits are continuously
rolling out. On May 24, we visited Mrs. Lourdita Raymundo,
my “mother” in Novaliches, so to speak.
She’s actually the mother of my best dear ol friend
Millotte way back in high school. With our keep-me-on-the-loop
communication on life’s whereabouts Millotte and
her family has become more enriched of nice memories.
They knew not much about John and so that opportunity
seems to be like a time for more revelations. Of course,
I wouldn’t miss those nice wedding and program
tips from Milotte since she’s been my constant
“suki” on emceeing. In the afternoon, come
another visit with Mr. Ricky Galinato, John’s
church mate. Well, with more exchange of information
and more discussion of wedding’s knitty-gritty
we ALL had another meaningful time.
