a bridal fair - Caterer's sample area |
Nope. By March we haven’t grown
tired of attending bridal fairs. On March 1, at NBC
tent in The Fort, we made reservations for our souvenirs
and unity candles. We realized that to get down to the
tinny-winy details of our preparations was quite a relief
for us. There we met Sonny who into exporting frames
and decors in the US and Europe. Hmm… export…
internationally competitive…hmmm…expensive…
But here’s the catch: The souvenirs were made
from Mt. Pinatubo ashes that were perfectly crafted
to classic designs! The products were pretty unique
and memorable.
Then came a few more errands, on March
15, my maid of honor-- my youngest sister Karla, went
away for a vacation in Japan. But before she can say
sayonara we had her measurement taken set the rest of
the entourage participants get ready with their gowns
by June.

bridal fair galore... |
One night in one of our regular Friday
dates we were smack by the idea of venturing into a
business. Our conversation turned into more concrete
possibilities. We scheduled a trip to Pangasinan to
visit a stock farm of onions by Jimmy, John’s
cousin (ust for the heck of testing our grip on business,
that is). Now, we are regularly supplying onions in
retail price to 6 restaurants in Makati and 2 missionary
houses in Queson City. It’s a good investment
for a cost, purposely for the wedding. Seems like business
creativity will naturally come when need arises. More
and more livelihood business opportunities rolled out
which we are excited in doing aside from our regular
work. High hopes for this business stints, and hopefully
this will continue even after the wedding.
