The month of April marks the time
of our courtesy visits to our principal sponsors. Although,
we have not fully firmed up the list, it’s a good
thing to keep the ball rolling (accomplishing the tasks).
We look forward to getting to know more and learn from
them.

and I with couturier Edd Sy |
Before the long vacation for the holy
week started, we scheduled to visit Dr. Geraldine Tria.
She is our dean in the graduate school (PLM) who used
to be my professor in Psychology way back during my
undergraduate years. During my freshman years, my teacher-student
relationship with Dr. Tria had become more enriched
with personal details of my life, significantly bout
my career.
She was delighted to know that I plan
to get married this year. Even after I obtained my masteral
program (degree?) (she was my thesis adviser too), Dr.
Tria and I were in constant communication about the
event. It was on April 14 when I got the chance to finally
introduce John to her in their very pleasant home in
Marikina. We enjoyed time recollecting the events during
my graduation rites in PICC last April 11. One of the
most memorable parts of the commencement activity was
that Pres. Macapagal-Arrayo graciously attended the
occasion and made the graduating class feel so honored
and privileged.
Come another week and we scheduled
another visit to Mr. Gino Guiagonia and his wife in
Novaliches. On the 27th, we have arranged to meet in
Robinsons for a casual snack in Pancake house. Mr. Guiagonia
was my former boss from a real estate developer company
in Pasig City where I used to work. He was the HR Corporate
Manager at that time. Catching up the good all times
was as splendid as ever and John and I indeed had a
meaningful time. After that meeting, we were convinced
that having to spend some quality time with these people—well,
not just carry a significant role in the wedding per
se, but have great influence on how well we perceived
ourselves in this life.
Before my mom left for japan, we had
our body measurements taken by our couturier, Edd Sy,
it was necessary to know if my mom can maintain that
figure on time for the big event. It was also then that
Edd and I finalized all the knitty-gritty design of
my gown. Exciting!
