Day 15: July 24, 2000

Gotta say, been back in the gym now for about 4-1/2 months and tonight was the first time I tried out the "Hammer Strength" Incline Presses and I gotta say, "I Like It!"  They have the machine positioned right in front of a mirror and I was able to watch my chest really working at moving the weight.  I will definitely be adding this into my future workouts.

The rest of my Upper Body workout today is listed below.  I felt real strong today throughout the workout and on my Dumbbell Curls, was finally able to see my veins starting to show themselves.

Chest: Hammer Strength Incline Presses and Pec Deck (Straight Arm)
Shoulders: Side Cable Laterals and Kneeling Rear Cable Laterals
Back: Seated Rows and Lat Pull Downs (Front)
Triceps: Seated Overhead Cable Raises and Assisted Dips
Biceps: Modular Cable Curls and Alternate Dumbbell Curls

Tomorrow, I am back for a strong cardio workout.  Will try to get a treadmill, and if not, I will hit the bike again..... Till tomorrow..................

Day 16: July 25, 2000

Was really in the zone today with my cardio workout.  There were treadmills available, but I decided to hit the bike today and really pushed the intensity level way up.  Had a real strong 30 minutes with a no quit attitude for the last 10 minutes.  

Tomorrow, I am looking forward to a strong Leg and Ab workout....... Until then............

Day 17: July 26, 2000

Had a full day at work today, and a meeting to attend with my mother this evening so I wound up missing tonight's Leg & Ab workout.  I didn't eat well today..... Only had three meals, and didn't want to overstress myself at the gym. 

I'll be back tomorrow for another session of cardio.  I plan to make it very intense.  Till then.............

Day 18: July 27, 2000

As I promised myself..... tonight's cardio workout was intense!  A full 30 minutes of high intensity and total focus.  I t felt real good with the last 15 minutes being super intense.  I was totally pushing my limits and it felt great.

Day 19: July 28, 2000

Back tonight for another intense Upper Body workout...... For chest, I once again used the "Hammer Strength" Incline Press, and due to how good it felt on Monday, I knew I could add more weight pushing it up to 200 lbs. on my Intensity Level 10 set.  Only got 9 reps out on the final set, but they were all out reps.

Also changed over to "Smith Machine" Seated Presses for my shoulder work.  Definitely pushed the limits on it and it felt real good.....

The rest of my Upper Body workout went like this:

Chest: Hammer Strength Incline Presses and Pec Deck (Straight Arm)
Shoulders: Seated Presses (Smith Machine) and Reverse Pec Deck Flyes
Back: Lat Pull Downs and One Arm Rows
Triceps: Kickbacks and Overhead Cable Extensions
Biceps: Cable Curls and Alternate Dumbbell Curls

Day 20: July 29, 2000

No cardio today...... Didn't get to the gym in the morning and had plans with the kids for the evening..... Took them to see "Thomas and the Magic Railroad."  It is a great movie for the kids and they really enjoyed it....

Day 21: July 30, 2000

Today was "Free Day" and stuck with it even though I missed yesterday's cardio workout.....  Wanted to get some rest today so that I can start off totally fresh tomorrow.  After all, it is my Legs & Abs day and I need to be totally rested and focused.....

So, till tomorrow...........
