Harry Potter promotes witchcraft?! Yeah,right.Bet you 10 bucks they're going to sacrifice Dobby to Satan,NOT. Harry Potter is simply a series of great books enjoyed the world over. And bad lessons? In real life kids swear,fart and tell dirty jokes!Do you think you'll see Ginny Weasley do that anytime soon?Harry and his friends are role models!

I think harry potter is a good influnce for kids and he is a role model because he shows kids that even the smallest person can face their fears and live life knowing that they have faced it and that if they can do that they can do anything. If anything it teaches them a good lesson in life....that they can be, do and succeed in anything that they put there mind to. - Shyviolet

It's obviously about witchcraft, but I don't think it promotes it! As for teaching bad lessons?! No way! I quote Shyviolet "I think harry potter is a good influnce for kids." He is brave, polite, nice, funny, is a good student, and most of all he is friends with almost everybody at Hogwarts. I think kids should look up to him. Even his friends, Ron and Hermione, are good people. I would definately reccommend the series to anyone who asked.
PS: I liked the movie, but I don't think it was as good as the books. ^_^ - Sarah C.

First I would like to say that I do not think that Harry Potter promotes witchcraft and I do not think that the lessons in the books teach kids bad things either. I think that the lessons in the books can help kids with friendships and with attitudes. And last but not least...HARRY POTTER ROCKS!!!!!!!! - Emily.

I think it's great all the books are fantastic. I know some people don't like them and that's their choice. But if you haven't read any of them you really should try you might be suprised. The books take you away into a different world and although you know none of this could happen while you're reading the book you sort of believe it. I think the best book was book 4. - Kim.
