*In the first American edition in the chapter Priori Incantem where Harry’s and Voldemort’s wands connect, the echos come appear out of order. The orders of the echos are: 1. Cedric 2. The Riddle’s Groundskeeper 3. Bertha 4. James Potter 5. Lily Potter. It should be: 1. Cedric 2. The Riddle’s Groundskeeper 3. Bertha 4. Lily Potter 5. James Potter because Harry’s father was murdered first, he should have came out after Harry’s mother.
*When Dumbledore was explaining the rules of the tournament he says that the champion with the most points at the end will win the tournament, but before the last task when Ludo Bagman says that the first champion to touch the cup wins the tournament.
*It says Cho Chang is a Gryfinder yet in another book shes the Ravenclaw seeker. At the yule ball it says Cho's a year older than Harry and he is 14 years old and yet she puts her name in the goblet of fire and you have to be 17. - Submitted by Heidi.
*On your site you put When Dumbledore was explaining the rules of the
tournament he says that the champion with the most points at the end will win
the tournament, but before the last task when Ludo Bagman says that the first
champion to touch the cup wins the tournament. Okay so don't you think they get
points for being the first to touch the cup? Whoever touched the cup first got
all those points therefore they would win. - Submitted by Brittany, American Hardcover
*In your mistakes you wrote that in the book it said 1.Cedric 2.the
grounds keeper 3.Bertha 4.James 5.Lily. Well it was in the right order in the
book, Lily did come before James, because Lily says to Harry "your father is
coming." - Submitted by Casey.
*In the GoF, Colin Creevy is mentioned as a third year. While this is
technicaly correct as Colin is a year behind Harry, Colin spent much of his
first year in the care of Madam Pomfrey as one of the victims of the basilisk. He missed a terrific amount of school. They still let him pass to the next
year? - Submitted by Anne
*It never says that Cho is a gryffindor because in the 3rd book they said against ravenclaw oliver wood said "Don't go easy on her because she's a
girl." and Cho Chang is also a seeker and therefore could have not been in
Gryffindor. - Submitted by Alexia
*Above me someone said that Lily came before James, but that is incorrect. Because in the book it says that the shadows or whatever they were came out in order from the first to the latest person. So, therefore, James would come out first, because he said, "Your mother is coming." - Submitted by Megan.
*Excuse me Megan, but the shadows DID come out from muost recent and so forth so lily came out BEFORE James, and I know this, because i just finished reading that book for the 4th time!!!!!!!! - Submitted by Casey.
*the mistake that says Cho entered her name in the goblet of fire. it never says that in the book i dont know where you got that from but thats not true. - Submitted by Sade.
*To both Casey and Megan, You are both right, and let me please explain why. There was a mess-up in the first edition of the 4th book, and James Potter came before Lily Potter. Thousands of these books were published and released, but any true Potter fan noticed that it was incorrect. This came to the attention of the publishers, who published a correct second edition with Lily coming before James later on. Thanks for listening! - *Natalie*
*Natalie umm your correct but im holding a vertion of the book in my
hands and it say s 1 cedric 2 then fred the gardener 3 bertha 4 lily (who says
your fathers coming ) 5james. thats all - William.
