The songs that just missed out on the Top 50, songs 60 through 51, represent a incredible group of talent, ranging from the edgy rock/alternative stylings of Skillet and 30 Seconds To Mars to some softer hits from BarlowGirl, Bebo Norman and a little R&B from Ne-Yo.
60. Out Of My Head by Mobile
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on March 22 at #46.  Spent 19 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #13.  Spent 11 weeks in the Top 25.  Mobile is one of the most underrated bands to make the Top 100, but they get their due credit with two appearances.

59. Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on July 12 at #45.  Spent 22 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #15.  Spent nine weeks in the Top 25.  Carrie nearly gets two singles into the Top 50, but settles for three singles in the Top 100.

58. I Will Lift My Eyes by Bebo Norman
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on August 23 at #50.  Has spent 17 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #5.  Has spent 12 weeks in the Top 25 and six in the Top 10.  Bebo continues to be one of the chart's constant hit-makers, with another year in the Top 100.

57. You Owe Me An IOU by Hot Hot Heat
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on February 1 at #44.  Spent 21 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #12.  Spent 12 weeks in the Top 25.  Hot Hot Heat managed a solid hit with this track, and only missed out on the Top 50 by a little bit.

56. Whispers (In The Dark) by Skillet
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on September 20 at #37.  Has spent 13 weeks in the Top 50, with two weeks at #1.  Has spent 12 weeks in the Top 25 and eight in the Top 10.  Skillet's first of two singles in the Top 100 continues to peak on it's way into 2007.

55. Sexy Love by Ne-Yo
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on June 7 at #43.  Spent 19 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #10.  Spent 12 weeks in the Top 25.  Sexy Love represents one of the year's best R&B tracks, and Ne-Yo nearly makes the Top 50 with this hit.

54. I Need You To Love Me by BarlowGirl
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on December 14 at #34.  Spent 18 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #5.  Spent 15 weeks in the Top 25 and four in the Top 10.  BarlowGirl's lone appearance in the Top 100 is one of the group's best hits to date.

53. The Coldest Heart by The Classic Crime
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on June 14 at #45.  Spent 20 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #12.  Spent 13 weeks in the Top 25.  The Classic Crime's is one of 2006's new artists that found their way into the Top 100, and nearly into the Top 50.

52. The Kill by 30 Seconds To Mars
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on August 9 at #49.  Has spent 19 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #4.  Has spent 13 weeks in the Top 25 and 7 in the Top 10.  30 Seconds To Mars is one 2006's breakthroughs, and The Kill is the song that put them on the map.

51. In Like A Lion (Always Winter) by Relient K
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on January 11 at #27.  Spent 18 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #5.  Spent 15 weeks in the Top 25 and six in the Top 10.  Relient K continues to be one of the chart's premier acts.  This is the first of three songs to hit the Top 100.
