Songs 40 through 31 has a high influx of country stars.  Half of these 10 songs come from the country realm.  Meanwhile, 2006's top new act, Family Force 5, makes their first of two Top 50 appearances in this section.
40. Jealous Of The Moon by Nickel Creek
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on December 21, 2005 at #48.  Spent 19 weeks in the Top 50, including two weeks at #1.  Spent 14 weeks in the Top 25 and eight weeks in the Top 10.  Nickel Creek's lone appearance on the chart this year lands in the Top 50.

39. Not Giving Up by Omnisoul
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on March 8 at #49.  Spent 22 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #6.  Spent 12 weeks in the Top 25 and four in the Top 10.  Though having yet to release a mainstream disc, Omnisoul continues to do well on the chart.

38. Cheatin' by Sara Evans
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on October 19, 2005 at #24.  Spent 21 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #3.  Spent 18 weeks in the Top 25 and 13 in the Top 10.  Sara Evans continues to prove she is one of the most dominant females on the chart.

37. Don't Forget To Remember Me by Carrie Underwood
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on February 15 at #50.  Spent 25 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #9.  Spent 14 weeks in the Top 25 and two in the Top 10.  Carrie's third appearance in the Top 100 gives her a Top 50 hit on the year.

36. Replace Me by Family Force 5
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on March 1 at #49.  Spent 24 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #7.  Spent 12 weeks in the Top 25 and three in the Top 10.  Family Force 5 was certainly one of 2006's top charting bands, with two Top 50 singles.

35. Tonight I Wanna Cry by Keith Urban
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on November 30, 2005 at #19.  Spent 19 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #7.  Spent 17 weeks in the Top 25 and seven in the Top 10.  This is Keith Urban's second and final appearance in the Top 100.

34. When I Get Where I'm Going by Brad Paisley f/Dolly Parton
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on October 6, 2005 at #21.  Spent 25 weeks in the Top 50, including two weeks at #1.  Spent 22 weeks in the Top 25 and 12 in the Top 10.  Brad Paisley joining forces with legend Dolly Parton proved quite potent in '05 and '06.

33. Time & Confusion by Anberlin
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on January 4 at #42.  Spent 18 weeks in the Top 50, including two weeks at #1.  Spent 14 weeks in the Top 25 and eight in the Top 10.  This is Anberlin's first of two appearnces in the Top 100 this year.

32. How Great Is Our God by Chris Tomlin
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on December 28, 2005 at #40.  Spent 23 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #7.  Spent 15 weeks in the Top 25 and five in the Top 10.  This was easily the most popular worship track of the year, and it makes it's way into the Top 50.

31. When You Go by Omnisoul
Stats: Debuted in the Top 50 on June 21 at #41.  Spent 24 weeks in the Top 50, peaking at #7.  Spent 15 weeks in the Top 25 and five in the Top 10. Omnisoul gets two singles into the Top 50 this year.
