Whats up... alright, things are back on track now. This months botm is The Goodbye Session, expect an interview and a review of their new album A Risk Worth Taking very soon. Also, the Hatebreed interview will finally be up within the next couple of days, and then the Dry Cell interview will follow. And speaking of interview, on the 19th I'm doing an interview with The Exies. So expect that soon as well...

Okay, about the Forum... go here to check out the forum. Use it do whatever... ask questions, bitch, compliment, request and promote. Go for it! Also, I'm using a re-direct url through cjb.net so the new url is: IxionMusic.cjb.net. And also, if you need to e-mail me you can contact me at [email protected].

Ixion is Back and Unloco is too! - posted 1.23.03 by robb
Hey y'all... well, I've decided not to shut down the site afterall. I felt there was too much left to do. I really enjoy working on this site, and getting info about up-and-coming bands out to you. Soon, I'll finally be uploading the interviews with Hatebreed and Dry Cell. Also, I'll be doing some reviews including the pop-punk band The Goodbye Session.

But, speaking of up-and-coming bands, have you checked out Unloco yet? They're an amazing band from Texas, that is soon to be releaseing their sophomore effort, "Becoming I". You can check them out all in the upcoming months on a stint with 40 Below Summer, and then The Music as a Weapon Tour with Disturbed, Taproot and Chevelle. Check out their song "Failure". And be sure to pick up the new album.

New Project - posted 12.19.02 by robb
Whats up everybody... Obviously I haven't updated the page for several months, much to the dissapointment of many. Heh... right! Anyways, I'd like you all to know that it wasn't all for nothing. For those who know me, my primary goal has always been to play out to my own music and make music my full time priority. Well, that opportunity has now presented itself and for the last few months I've been 110% dedicated to that. This website has been a great tool for me to get my foot in the door and meet many great people, as well as learn a lot about music biz along the way. Now, instead of promoting and giving the spotlight to other bands, I'm gonna take a stab at it.

Soon I'll be turning this website into a portal to the upcoming website I am currently developing for my band. We're are as of yet un-named as that is the least of our concerns for the time being. Right now, we're just concerned with developing the best music possible. To clue you in on what type of band we are... you've guessed it, heavy as shit. And not that nu-metal heavy if thats what you're thinking. Our music is very very heavily influenced by 80s and early 90s heavy metal. I hate comparing, but if I had to... it would be a hybrid of Ozzy, Pantera, Megadeath, Killswitch Engage, etc type of thing. Heavy riffs, a plethera of leads, lots of double bass and great fills. So keep an eye out for us and definetly give us a listen once we get some material recorded. See y'all soon!

Fallon Bowman Interview - posted 7.17.02 by robb
Okay, here's an interview with Fallon Bowman of Amphibious Assault, who is also the ex-guitarist for Kittie for anyone who was unaware of that. Thats it for now... within the next couple days I'd like to have the Dry Cell interview uploaded, as well as some other things.

Trust Company BOTM - posted 7.05.02 by robb
I'm keeping good on my promise of getting things back on track and getting some new things going on with the site. Right now I'm just catching up on the BOTM's and the new releases. Also, like I mentioned before... there will be new interviews and features soon to come. For now, check out July's BOTM: Trust Company

A Loco Time! - posted 7.02.02 by robb
Well... where to begin. First off, its been a while since I've last updated this site. About two months to be correct... and I deeply apologize for the absence. To give you an excuse would be cliche... but I had some family problems. If you're close to me, you know what I'm talking about. Anyways... time to get the shitball rolling again! I have for you, interviews and live photos. The live photos are from Locobazooka where I had the time of my life hanging with the boys from Dry Cell. , as well as some other bands. I was lucky enough to do an interview with the fellas while I was there too. During the interview though, Dry Cell was dropped from their label. So some has to be cut out. But as Brandon(DC's drummer) mentioned, "You taped to turning point in Dry Cell's career". Also, I have interviews from Fallon Bowman(ex-Kittie) and James from Crossbreed coming up. Some other things are in the works too so stay tuned!

Also, the interviews with Kevin of Slaves On Dope and Wayne Kile, formerly of American Head Charge are uploaded. In the near future I'm hoping to get some more media files out to you all... things right now are a little hectic, but soon enough things will smooth out and some great things will get done.

40 Below Summer Interview, and more! - posted 4.14.02 by robb
Alright... I recently wrapped up an interview with 40 Below Summer. The Sw1tchED interview is taking a little longer to complete than what I first conceived, but you can still expect that soon enough. Also, other interviews that will be conducted soon will be with Slaves on Dope and Wayne Kyle, ex-member of American Head Charge. Those are the only two interviews right now that have been confirmed, but I assure you that I have some great bands lined up that you all will love.
