Ixion: Okay, so if you don't mind... how about a brief on what you've been up to lately?
AA: I've been busy working, and doing stuff for AA really. I am on school vacation(thank fucking GOD) and basically relaxing after a tough year at school.
Ixion: With your new project, "Amphibious Assault" you really seem to shy away from your previous metal project, "Kittie". Has metal left your system?
AA: No. I still indulge in a little metal ear assault every now and then. It
will never leave my system. It was too much a part of my life in the past, it will be hard to get rid of that.
Ixion: Can we expect any future metal endeavors?
AA: I have been playing around with the idea of a Berzerker cover band. hahah no really. I have always wanted to do a black metal thing, I think it would rule, and I lovee black metal.
Ixion: This subject must come up a lot, but how did things fall apart for you and the rest of Kittie?
AA: There were some things surrounding the band that I was not happy with. Changes in situtions, and changes in people. I felt that it was best for the band, and myself, if I just removed myself from the situation.
Ixion: Since your departure, Talena has also left... is that in any way related?
AA: You mean did she leave because of me or did she leave for the same reason I did? I don't think she left cause I did, I think she left for more or less the same reason as I did.
Ixion: Do you keep in touch with your ex-band mates much?
AA: No. Just Talena.
Ixion: With your departure and now Talena also leaving... do you seem much of a future for Kittie?
AA: I wish them all the best for whatever they do, but honestly it really doesn't concern me.
Ixion: What is your response to the statement of you being called, "a hired hand" more or less?
AA: I love how that was said but I was the one that started that fucking band. So I was hired to start a band? Sure.
Ixion: If you could make a rebuttle to that comment, towards Morgan... what would you say?
AA: I don't think I would say anything. She knows what I think of it..cause she's not a dumb girl. She knows its bullshit, and I am sorry that I don't mean anything to her.
Ixion: Looking back, do you regret anything?
AA: No.
Ixion: Okay, on to a different subject... So explain what, "Amphibious Assault" is all about?
AA: Amphibious Assault is a electronic outfit geared and making people groove as well as educating them about social problems and issues that need addressing.
Ixion: Any plans to add anyone to the project?
AA: Live, possibly. But otherwise it will just be little ole me!
Ixion: Have you as of yet performed any of this material?
AA: Actually no, I would like to though!
Ixion: Now, I'm going to touch a little off base... have you now finished up with school?
AA: No, I have one more dumb year. I am in a theatre program though, so at
least it will be fun.
Ixion: After Kittie, did you just return to your old high school, or what happened with that?
AA: Yep, I just went back to the school I left in 1999. Its funny, It was
like I didn't leave, it was great. It made things a lot easier.
Ixion: Any plans with furthering your education?
AA: Probably not. I don't know how to do anything else. Maybe I will become
a prof and teach a course on WW2 Germany.
Ixion: What bands have you been listening to lately?
AA: The Prodigy's "Music for a Jilted Generation" has been spinning in my cd player for 2 weeks now. Depeche Mode's "Songs of Faith and Devotion" as well. And of course, VNV Nation's "Futureperfect."
Ixion: Any final comments?
AA: um..satan?
