Formed out of the ashes of local acts Casting Shadows and a few others, The Goodbye Session�s sound is a sonic blend of punk rock roots, with pop overtones. Originally known as Headliner, the band gained a loyal following in the Lima area shortly after forming in the summer of 2000. Since the inception of TGS, the band released its first demo in early 2002 and recently finished recording their ep A Risk Worth Taking over Christmas at The Danger Room studios in Dayton, Ohio, which was produced by Chris Common. TGS has spent nearly three years of consistently playing out all around the tri-state area with such bands as Tooth & Nail recording artists Squad 5-0 and The Hunhingtons, along with others acts like Junction 18, Unsung Heroes and End This Day. Now, armed with their new aural creation in the form of �A Risk Worth Taking�, The Goodbye Session is ready to show the music industry what they�re made of.
