AIR: To give your canine the opportunity to empty it's bowels and bladder, in particular before a performance event.
AKC: American Kennel Club
Hunt Tests Titles and Levels -
JH (Junior Hunter), SH (Senior Hunter), MH (Master Hunter)
Junior Level:  Consists of two single marks on land and two single marks on water.
Senior Level:  Consists of one double land mark, one double water mark, one water blind and one land blind.
Master Level: Consists of multiple marks (doubles/triples/quads) on land and in the water. Technically difficult water and land blinds. Marks and blinds can include diversions, wiper birds and bulldogs. Live shot flyers are used at all levels.
AKC titles go after the dog's name and are earned by qualifying in 4 JH, 5 SH(4 w/JH title), 6 MH(5 w/SH title) tests.

AMISH TRAININGThe art of training without the use of an electronic collar.
ANGLE ENTRY/ANGLINGTo cross terrain or enter water on a diagonal line.
AREA OF FALL: The spot on the ground and it's surrounding area where the item to be retrieved fell. (Also called "FALL")
ATTRITIONTraining by helpful casting until the desired results are achieved.  To give continued casts without pressure from an electric collar or other types of correction.  Useful when teaching something new.
