Pokemon Red, Blue, & Yellow
Pokemon Gold & Silver
Background Information:
In February 1996 in Japan, the first ever Pokemon games, Pokemon Red & Pokemon Green, were released.  Since Red & Green were such big hits in Japan, America wanted to get in on some of the action (however, Green version was replaced with Blue version).  Now, almost 8 years later, they're back!

The two games that started it all have been
remade for the Game Boy Advance, and that means it'll be sporting improved graphics like that of Ruby & Sapphire!  We'll finally be able to revisit the Kanto region once more, and we'll finally get the opportunity to catch Pokemon from 1-151, an opportunity not present in Ruby & Sapphire.  However, it is still speculation whether we'll be able to revisit Johto and capture every Pokemon that was unobtainable in Ruby & Sapphire.

Fire Red & Leaf Green will be compatible with Ruby & Sapphire so that you may trade and battle.  Fire Red & Leaf Green will also be compatible with Pokemon Colosseum.  Like the original Red & Green, the two remakes will have Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle as the selection of starter Pokemon.  Lastly, you'll have a choice of either a boy or girl trainer, just like in Pokemon Crystal, Pokemon Ruby, and Pokemon Sapphire.
