I am a 17 year old girl here in the USA and I was diagnosed 2 years ago with M.E and Fibromyalgia and Over here doctors are often times recommend certain alternative treatments to there patients. The doctor that mostly treats me very rarely relies upon conventional medicine unless she has too. Like I take pain medication sometimes and muscle relaxants almost everyday. However many doctors also think here that the those types of doctors practice Quakery and don't beleive the treatments work. I have had one of my specialists tell me that they thought my doctor was crazy. But for my experiance I now have alot more energy eventhough I still can't excersise much.
