What ever you do, don't buy this game, hey I wouldn't even rent it its that bad. If you are looking for one of the most boring and pointless games in the universe then this is the game for you.
Space Griffon is a Japanese import game that to put it bluntly is a load of crap. Don't be taken in by the nice looking Japanese art on the back of the box this has nothing to do with anime or the game its self.
The story line basically involves you and your team going to a moon base to stop some sort of terrorist take over. You use large bots like transformers that can change between three styles of movement, and can use a arsenal of rockets, lasers and chain guns to shoot the enemies.
Sounds nice doesn't it but the levels you fight on are more like giant mazes, and the few enemies you do meet are easily destroyed. As if this weren't bad enough you don't get to control any of your team mates.
All they seem to be able to do is offer advice in Japanese (this can be funny at first but after about the tenth time soon becomes very annoying)
Overall this must be the most useless game on the Dreamcast. I dont know why they thought that anyone over here would like it. More likely they thought they would off load it on the unsuspecting UK public.
But then if you don't have a chipped Dreamcast you need not worry as it is only available on import.
