Review
Sonic the Hedgehog is a fairly ok game. Its an action/adventure type game where you as Sonic or one of his friends must try to stop the evil Dr Robotnik from destroying the world. (anyone who has played the old Sonic games will recognize this scenario)
To do this you must beat Robotnik to the 7 chaos emeralds scattered around the world, needless to say each time you get one Robotnik usually turns up to steel it off you.
The action is all set in a 3D world and the speed at which you can travel using Sonic is quite amazing. It takes a while to get used to the controls for this game as the analogue control stick is used for moving around and when traveling at high speed it can be quite hard to keep control of sonic.
Overall it is an ok game though it is easy to lose interest in it after a while. This game fails in the same area as all the other 3D adventure games out there, there aren't enough bloody Monsters!!!
