LSK manages the 48 IS NRTS program and provides information and guidance as required. On this page are links to the applicable Instructions and MQCCs, the NRTS Log Database, the NRTS worksheet, and the LSK NRTS Continuity book.
LSK applies prudent management during the NRTS review process and review of repair change requests. The goal is to improve self-sufficiency through maximum use of available resources, not to develop a new, and perhaps costly, repair capability. The review process is designed to evaluate the NRTS program across the entire maintenance complex and its main purpose is to identify negative trends, as well as potential benefits recognized during the analysis process, to the COL and all production work centers, and employ managerial actions (such as, acquiring test equipment, correcting technical data, obtaining additional training, etc.) to eliminate or reduce future NRTS actions. LSK compiles the NRTS Action Register data submitted by production work centers into a single file and uses it as an analysis tool.
