This is the home page of the CAMS Database Manager (DBM).
The DBM is the focal point for automated systems in the
fighting 48th. It is the advisory agency for all Core Automated Maintenance
System (CAMS) functional areas in maintenance and provides assistance to all
maintenance agencies concerning the availability of data, information and retrieval.
This section maintains the CAMS database, submits Difficulty reports (DIREPS),
and supports CAMS documentation of away-from-home station maintenance, controls
recovery procedures and schedules periodic reports and programs. The DBM is
also the first evaluator for any proposed changes or additional capabilities
to the CAMS system. This section is also responsible for continuity of all transactions
taking place in CAMS. It is a problem solving agency within the unit that ensures
each work center has accessibility to an accurate and usable database. Other
automated systems the DBM works with are Reliability and Maintainability Information
System (REMIS) AND Standard Base Supply System (SBSS).
