LSK manages the 48 IS Corrosion Control program and provides information and guidance as required. On this page are links to the applicable Instructions and MQCCs, the Corrosion control briefing, and test.
LSK provides initial corrosion control training (based on AFQTP 2EXXX-201C) to all personnel performing maintenance inspections and maintaining equipment (to include assigned vehicles, shelters, generators, environmental control units, and other support equipment when needed). Emphasis is on specific unit corrosion control objectives. LSK monitors the corrosion-control training program to ensure yearly refresher training and testing is administered to all production work center maintenance personnel.
