Maintenance Standardization and Evaluation Program (MSEP)

MSEP provides the Chief of Logistics and Maintenance Superintendent with key indicators to judge the maintenance activity�s ability to meet mission requirements. LSK performs evaluations to determine the quality of maintenance management, production and procedures; technician competence and training program effectiveness. LSK also publishes specific guidance describing procedures for evaluations, suspense control, report preparation and routing, and initial report reply and follow-up procedures. LSK maintains a file of all MSEP evaluation reports and uses evaluation results to determine the physical and management condition of the maintenance activity. Management practices, systems, and facilities must be evaluated periodically to identify and correct problems.
