GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
(The scene opens up outside the Milwaukke International Airport. We see the new Undisputed
RWW Champion, Scott "The Boy" Hellings about to get into a taxi when roving reporter Michael
Cole stops him.)
COLE-
"Scott!"
(The Boy throws his bag into the back of the taxi and then turns to see Cole.)
HELLINGS-
"Cole. I was afraid it would be you."
COLE-
"I have been trying to get ahold of you for days! Where have you been? The world wants to hear
from the new champion!"
HELLINGS-
"Where have I been? I went home Cole. Back home to celebrate Canada Day and to
rest up after my hellacious match with Bombtrack at Instinct."
COLE-
"How are you feeling after that match?"
HELLINGS-
"A lot better than Bombtrack I'm sure."
COLE-
"Well, what is like being the new RWW Undisputed Champion?"
HELLINGS-
"You know, a lot of people said I couldn't do it. Everyone said I couldn't win (making quotation marks with his fingers) 'the big one.' Well this past Sunday I proved that I can. Bombtrack underestimated me and I made him pay for it.
And now? Now the critics have been shut up and it feels fantastic Mick! I was happy when I won the Intercontinental Title last year but now I know what it feels like to be a TRUE champion!"
COLE-
"Well, let me ask you this-also at Instinct we saw the retirement of Stupac after Enigma defeated him at Hell in a Cell. Afterwards, Enigma finally revealed himself as the legendary Big Daddy Bruce. Bruce vows to reform the nWo and to destroy Rampage World Wrestling. What is your reaction?"
HELLINGS-
"My reaction is that Big Daddy Bruce is better off sitting in his retirement home collecting his pension! He's even older than Bombtrack, and I destroyed him at Instinct! What do you think will happen to BDB if he gets in my way? But more importantly Cole, his vow to take out the RWW is a vow to take out me. I am the Undisupted Champion. And as such I am a
representative for this entire product and all the other guys in our locker room. And if Bruce wants to take out Ramapge World Wrestling he is going to have go through me first! This company is my home and I could not let down all of my fans, all my Boy Scouts! I WILL destroy Big Daddy Bruce!"
COLE-
"Do you find his sudden change of heart shocking?"
HELLINGS-
"Shocking? Absolutely. It is the first time Bruce has shown any semblance of a personality!"
COLE-
"You seem to be taking Bruce quite lightly. You aren't going to consider any of his warning as a threats?"
HELLINGS-
"Of course not. You see, I treat Bruce lightly because he treats ME lightly! He treats everyone on the RWW roster lightly! See what guys like BDB and Bombtrack don't realise is that their time has passed! Their glory days are behind them! It is time for stars such as myself and Pantera and Kiddzi and Thumbscrewz and whoevever else to step forward and make a name for themself! And I did just that on Sunday! But guys like Bombtrack and BDB live in the past Cole, they can't see that they can no longer
compete with the youth of this federation. So perhaps I will give Bruce respect when he gives me respect!"
COLE-
"Who do you think might be the first inductee into Bruce's New World Order?"
HELLINGS-
"Well you see Cole it's like.....wait a minute! Did you hear that?"
COLE-
"Hear what?"
HELLINGS-
"There it goes again!"
COLE-
"What?"
HELLINGS-
"The sound of The Boy not giving a rat's ass! I could care less who BDB picks for his nWo! It could be Bombtrack, it could be Ace Slaughter, it could be The Drunken Wonder Scott Hall, he could get them and a boat, he could get them and a goat because it really doesn't make a difference! Because the only thing that matters is The Boy!"
COLE-
"This Friday you will be taking on Chris Crippler for your Undisupted Title. Do you think that maybe you should have stayed at home and rested up a little longer? Will you still be worn out from your match against Bombtrack at Instinct?"
HELLINGS-
"Perhaps, but I have something on my side Cole. Momentum. I have all the momentum in the world going into this match and there is nothing Chris Crippler can do about it! And don't even talk to me about Chris having a ton of momentum after winning the Battle Bowl because that is no comparison to winning the RWW Undisupted Title! I know it, you know it, the whole damn world knows it!"
COLE-
"I wasn't going to say that."
HELLINGS-
"Yes you were. I know you too well."
COLE-
"No I wasn't."
HELLINGS-
"Yes you were."
COLE-
"No."
HELLINGS-
"Yes."
COLE-
"Alright! I was! Are you happy now?"
HELLINGS-
"For the time being. So you see Mick, I have momentum on my side so there is nothing that Chris Crippler can do to me on Friday that will prevent me from walking out as I walked in-Undisupted Champion! Maybe I should have stayed home and rested up a little longer. But I celebrated Canada Day on Monday and tomorrow I want to celebrate Independance Day. See make no mistake about it, The Boy is Canadian through and through and he is damn proud of that! But I have no problems with the US of A
and besides, The Boy likes parties and fireworks Cole. I had to come here. Now let me ask you this-did you celebrate Canada Day?"
COLE-
"Well no. I'm not Canadian."
HELLINGS-
"Well so what? I'm celebrating Independance Day! You can't have it both ways Mick."
COLE-
"Oh I get it. Like a relationship, you have to be compromise and have some give and take."
(The Boy looks like he is about to be sick to his stomach)
HELLINGS-
"Okay NEVER call this (motioning back and forth between himself and Michael Cole) a relationship ever again! You are simply the interviewer and I am the one being interviewed, got it?"
COLE-
"Got it."
HELLINGS-
"Now then, what is Michael Cole doing for Independance Day?"
COLE-
"You actually want to know?"
HELLINGS-
"Not really. I'm just being kind because I've been in a good mood since I won the Undisputed Title. But please, go ahead."
COLE-
"Well I was thinking that me and my wife..."
HELLINGS-
"Don't you dare finish that sentence!"
COLE-
"What?"
HELLINGS-
"I would really rather not know what you are doing tomorrow Cole. Really. What the HELLings is the matter with you anyway? Telling me private details like that!"
COLE-
"I wasn't.."
HELLINGS-
"Save it! I only wanted to use this as a good segway. You see, July 1st was Canada Day. Canada is known for a great deal of things Cole. The best hockey players in the world are from Canada, great music, a lot of people saying 'eh' a lot, you think of the maple leaf and most importantly you think of me-The Boy! Now July 4th is Independance Day here in America. And when people think of America they think of freedom and liberty,
icons like The White House, Mt. Rushmore and The Statue of Liberty and you think of warm apple pie! And this Friday I am taking on Chris Crippler, who is from England. When you think of England you think of The Beatles, the Royal Family, bad teeth and unfortunately for the British, Chris Crippler. Chris is the worst wrestler to ever come out England and he is the most incoherrent man I have ever heard! And although I feel sorry for the English that they have to admit he is one of them, I am going to beat him so badly that I am going to send him back there out of embarassment and shame! I am
going to give him the Chokeslam to HELLings, then I'm going to grab his little carcass, put into a cab just like the one I have here, buy him a one-way ticket for London and send him back there so he can eat bangers and mash and have himself a nice cup of tea before getting on one of them double-decker busses. And then he is going to come to an ephiany. He is going to say to himself. (In a whiny voice to mock Crippler) 'Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......errrrrrrrrrrrr.....Chris Crippler should retire! And then none of us will ever have to deal with him ever again!"
COLE-
"What about Crippler's claim that he has beat you twice before in the ring?"
HELLINGS-
"You see? This is exactly what I am talking aboot! Even Crippler can't understand what the heckadoodle is saying! He talks about how he pinned me in our Battle Bowl match a few weeks ago. But the fact remains is that Chris Crippler pinned Mikal Cas, not me! I was off fighting Bombtrack in the backstage area and left Mikal Cas to fend for himself. So Chris Crippler has not beat me twice! And he isn't going to get a second win over me this Friday. I am on top of my game and there is nothing he can do to beat me Mick! The Crippler DDT ain't going to put me away on Friday, nothing will! His only hope is if he shoots me Cole
and I'm not sure he knows how to operate a gun! So don't you worry Mick, I will still be the champion on Saturday morning. And you know why? Because I am The Boy and that means I am The Best!"
(Just then a beautiful, young woman walks up beside Michael Cole and Scott Hellings, trying to hail a taxi.)
HELLINGS-
"Excuse me. Do you need a cab?"
WOMAN-
"What? Oh yeah."
HELLINGS-
"You can share this one with me if you like."
WOMAN-
"Sorry, I don't know you."
HELLINGS-
"Sure you do. I am the RWW Undisputed Champion! Do you ever watch Rampage World Wrestling?"
WOMAN-
"Sometimes. Oh wait! I know who you are now!"
HELLINGS-
"Of course you do!"
WOMAN-
"Yeah, you're that Stupac guy, right? I love you! You're the best! I would love to share a cab with you!"
(Michael Cole is trying to not to laugh as Hellings shoots him a dirty look. Hellings then thinks to himself for a minute before shrugging his shoulders.)
HELLINGS-
"Yeah, what the hell? Sure, I'm Stupac! Let's go!"
(Hellings goes around and opens the door for the woman. He goes around to the other side where Michael Cole is standing. Cole starts whipering to him.)
COLE-
"You're not Stupac! She's bound to find out."
HELLINGS-
"I know. But it will be fun going along with it for the meantime."
COLE-
"What will you say when she finds out?"
HELLINGS-
"I don't know. Guess I'm just gonna have to face my fears!"
(Hellings smiles at Michael Cole who shakes his head in disbelief. Hellings gets in the taxi and it then speeds away into the distance. The camera follows the taxi for a bit before fading out to black.)
