commentaries MAKE A SELECTION

Director's Commentaries

In this section you will find "commentaries" I have done for selected roleplays. These commentaries consist of my thoughts on the roleplay, as well as filling in any background information. I believe they are an interesting and perhaps even entertaining read. The commentaries themselves have also been rewritten somewhat, with new information added and the original stuff edited a bit, where necessary. So it's a whole new experience. There are 13 commentaries in total in this section, with two that are brand new additions to the site.

EFEDDING-RELATED

Sycho Sid: Vampire Hunter

The oldest commentary on the site. This one is all about the most memorable person I have encountered since entering the world of efeds.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Roleplayers

My favourite commentary. This one is all about providing some tips on roleplaying, based around the bestselling self-help book, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People."

Efedding Observations

Some of my random thoughts in regards to efedding, separated into sections for fedheads and members.

Scott Reviews Recruitment Emails

After NSW shut down, I had to find a new efed. Thus, I posted an ad on the Roughkut database and dozens of emails came pouring in. Most were awful. The inspiration for a commentary on what makes a good (or bad) recruitment email what it is. This is the result. Updated in January of 2009 with a few more emails.

WRESTING IN GENERAL

Soon to be Followed by the Exact Same Commentary...

I was disturbed by the growing amount of rematches taking place in WWE at the time, thus the need for this commentary. I explain why I think they are a bad idea and how to possibly avoid them.

Time to Shake Things Up a Bit

I offer some solutions on how to "fix" WWE.

Bias in Pro Wrestling

A look at wrestling and how bias enters into it all the time, particularly from the vantage point of how wrestling "news" (aka rumours) are reported on the 'Net.

Point. Counterpoint. Exploit.

I examine exploitation in WWE in general, but most specifically related to the death of Eddie Guerrero.

Is Apathy Towards Wrestling Unavoidable?

Despite having been completed some time ago, this commentary was never actually posted until now. This one tries to examine why it seems so many wrestling fans eventually lost interest in the world of sports entertainment.

The Cold War: TNA vs WWE

I exmaine the war between TNA and WWE and wonder why it seems to go by without much notice.
