Twin Peaks was written by David Lynch, and produced by Lynch and Mark Frost. (Lynch, 1990)

Lynch is completely private about any personal religious leanings. Interestingly though, in any of his biographical or
personal information, it notes the Eagle Scouts as an acheivement. In fact, on the reverse side of his Twin Peaks
trading card, it states the Eagle Scouts as his ONLY accomplishment. (Platt, Internet)

Anyone familiar with the initiation of Scouting in North America will know that Lord Baden Powell is considered
to be the movements founder. However, his concept borrowed heavily from a doctrine created by a Mason -
Brother Daniel Carter Beard. When Baden-Powell was encouraged to join the Mason Brotherhood he declined for one reason only,
he did not want to alienate his Roman-
Catholic contingent. This link between Masonry and the
Scouts exists even today - Freemasonry Lodges help to form and sponser Scout units. (Orans, Internet)

So, it seems noteworthy that Lynch is SO proud of his time with the Eagle Scouts.
As well, Frost, in conrast, has been vocal about his leanings towards Masonry and Theosophy. ("Erik's...", Internet)
