The disappearance of the Hott Ra-Ra skirt
6 Oct. 04

______________________________________________________________________________________________
Part 1

Ooh I own some damn pretty Ra-Ra skirts, iced with cool Summery and Dinnery ones!

Karen flits through her skirts and plays
match-n-dress-up with such a gleam on her face as she skips and poses in front of the full-length mirror. However, what she didnt know at the time was that something sinister had occurred behind those drobes.

Pretty, pretty, flirty skirts. Pretty and hott and I own a really hott one thats hiding from me because its so hott and doesnt want me to stuff up the hotness of it.

Right?!

The anxiety increases as she suspects someone has kidnapped it. The cynic within rose with such disappointment in herself.

By the rise of george that skirt had the uber-hotness of several-a-meeting of the butts. I have to find it!

Frantically she searched her room and retraced her event-steps to the last [and first] time she wore the flirtatious skirt.

Where was the killer thing? Was it an adversarys best act of revenge (how dare they! No no must not be so cynical)? Will Karen find the frilly thing or will there be heartache and previous dollars zooming vertically?

Find out in the ever so prompt:

Part 2

Behind the kiddy couch? The couch must have ate it, the little bugger! All four sides its gotta be here!

With best efforts to be optimistic (shes got the optimism thing down stone cold this one), a light bulb finally appeared just above her head, and a soft
ding! rung in her ear. Picking up her bottle of water for a quick stop for a refill just across her destination, she skips.

Could it be? No I remember prancing around in it after that event, it couldnt be in the laundry basket. No-one would ever allow it to sit there for two weeks.

Relieved and also disappointed at the same time, shes never seen such a wonderful two-sight! Her two loveliest combos for that way flirty outfit a fortnight ago sat at the bottom of the pile of unwashed hand-wash clothes. She pulled the skirt up out of the pile like it was the first time she had set her shiny eyes on the ever-so-sexy thing.

You poor sexy thing you.

It could have been such a beautiful tactile meeting but there was one really dire thing she had to say.

So pretty!

Dont you just love a good, not overly sarcastic, embellished story? I know I do.

Hahahahahahaha

Deary me. That was the most exciting thing that happened to me today. But the excitement should have been recorded when it happened, just like this one. Past few weeks have not. Been recorded that is. Let me recap though because it was worth every picket of energy to get through those days.

Im in my second week of the school hols and the fun began two days before the last day. Caught up with two old mates in the
City and had a such a frivolous arvo drinking some free cuppas (coffee) at this wowzer of a Hotel where Kyte (and her sister) works. Such a lovely place to have been in and great company to have shared it with. No really. I mean huge celebrities stayed there. :- *giggle* Recently, Matt Damon! Gosh I love him. He has such a rad personality, so real and down-to-earth. Sweet got to speak to him for 5 minutes! My heart just aches yet its still variably excited. He was great as Bourne BTW. Finished the day off with The Village. What is with Shyamalan and his anti-climatic endings?! Do answer that. Perhaps he is on the way to Sixth Sense-type climatic endings because it has gotten better since the poor ending of Signs. Showing aliens in its not so fast now are ya? full form? Dude, what the hell was that?!

Those people who drop off the local newspapers gave us
5 of the same newspaper. :-\

Okay well so much for the recap aye. lol.

So much wicked fun though. Friends second sisters wedding last month was a nice one, well actually the fact that we got to bond with a new face was nice and the after-thing was good too beachy, breezy but cool. Also got to know one of my school mates a little better considering I barely bonded with 95% of them this year. Heh. Also in August we got to go to the first sisters
wedding.

Now lets just dot them cause Im gonna have to pick the eventful ones to save time since time wont stop. lol.

 missed out on
Sydney In Bloom and I swear Im quite peeved about that. All those garden stuff and Jamie Durie.

*sniff* *sniff*

 got accepted for the
KvB half-scholarship but found out the trimesters is going to pierce a burn through my finances if I decide to go there (I put myself on a waiting list in case I change my mind though)
*sniff* *sniff*

 missed out on
YBE 2004 Citytalk but got to go to the exhibition (well okay I only saw half of them)
*sniff* *sniff*

ooh! ohh! But I did get to go to an art exhibition of
Maria Fernanda Cardosos sculptures at Redfern (which I wish wasnt located there for reasons of everyday danger)

Hunter Valley Gardens were awjawsome! Next time Im in the area: vineyards ;-)

election day for PM in this country was well the results werent surprising.
Johnnys still eck-got it.

missed out on the opening of
Lionel Bawdens sculptures, however Ill see the works probably this weekend or just before it ends on the 6th *tries to look optimistic*
*sniff * *sniff*

missed a friends birthday on the account of my
HSC exams which BTW is so overrated except for maybe the last examination for which just passed for me yesterday! Yay!

Our Generation (AKA American Dreams) is back on. Yay!

Got a hold of seasons one to six of the
Buffy DVDs. Yay! Yay yay yay yay yay!

trying very hard to save for the rest of the DVDs as well as
Angels.
*sniff* *sniff*

and my incentive to make money just so I can get what I want and do what I want is in a pile of mud right now. All squishy and grainy.

Damnit.
:-|

but hey,
The Exorcist: The Beginning might be on for tomorrow night and the Sydney Food and Wine Fair is so on my agenda this Saturday. See, Ive still got nowhere to go with the saving bit. :-\

Im not an
Anime fan (I mean Ill watch almost any of them but no real bondage there) but I went to my first Sydney Animania last weekend! Alucard and Jap are nuts but Kay and I tagged along fine. In fact, apart from the rain pour that evening (yes we stayed for the entire duration of the second day minus half an hour) it was quite eventful. Lots of nervous or excited but sort of stagnant energy, though

Theres friggen kids in our front yard again! Damn kids. Tell me them running across my window sporadically does
not freak you out. We dont even know them!

So like I was flowin energy, though I suppose the stunning architecture of
Town Hall made up for a lot of that and some funny folks and brains got me tied. Heh. There was a meter to test the loudness of the audience on screen where while it was being announced, I was all well hey thats pretty damn cool. Then the little mouse cursor started to control the loudness and although anti-climaxed, it was a nice comedic decision. =)

Theres talk of next years
Cosplay enteree but Im thinking that I would dress up if I was into Anime so I wont feel shame Im gonna be the one who goes go team! with a bunch of Anime fans standing in the audience arent I. lol.
