| Untitled 3 Apr 04 It�s almost midnight, yet I can�t quite get to sleep or stop thinking for that matter! Yesterday was refreshing. Had two exams that day and was invited to BMYQT�s birthday dinner at the opening of a new local restaurant. I hadn�t realised this but there was a three hour interval between each major event: textiles exam, D&T exam, dinner, then sleep, which I think makes it one of the busiest days I�ve had yet (or so I remember). I was up from 7am till 11pm and could have powered a hamster's treadmill for a month with that amount of brainpower, so you can see why it was difficult to be less than restless! Restless and random I think would have been more accurate. Heh. It was partly strange and partly comforting to see my high school friends again, especially the one�s I never thought I�d ever see again. Time has been increasingly speedy so months feel like weeks rather than what it actually is. Although it wasn�t my intention (my priority is to have fun ya see) I observed and picked up little things about certain friends that make me all the more appreciative of just being here to bask in their ways, whether it�s desirable or not. I mean I go back maybe 4 to 5 years with one particular friend who has always tried to rattle my cage in tech drawing/graphics industries, with not only study but also regular banter! At this dinner, I was surprised (although I think I always knew he wasn�t all competition and tease) to find him filling my bowl with food, and wouldn�t allow me to do this myself if I didn�t already have the spoon or ladle in hand. I felt so un-independent and it was strange telling him what I wanted and then being served by him: a friend who isn�t obligated to serve me. *ahem* Not that anybody is *cough* obligated to serve me. =) The floor staff at the restaurant didn�t even serve us like that� I think I may just value my independence a little too much! I never thought I�d see the day 5 Apr 04 Holy jacks and a slap on the wrist with a swirl of icing on the fat, fat cake! Hehehe Hahaha� Too Tarn Tood! 6 Apr 04 My weekly fix has been aching for a long while. I believe it is back! Untitled 10 Apr 04 Got poked by the quick-unpick twice since yesterday and a pin got a good deal of my fingers too! *grunt* �It�s moments like these you need Minties� and that�s something I have plenty of since yesterday�s Secret Window! And you know, every time I see the commercial for Orange featuring the two blonde children, I think: *does a bad Vader impersonation* Futhark Kids. Quizzing minds wanna know 18 Apr. 04 Yester-afternoon my mind was at a wonder and upon clicking on a link in my Daily Astrology email, I found myself compiling up to thirteen questions about myself to which would later be quizzed to my fellow friends and family. It took 3+ fricken hours to come up with thirteen questions and each with 4 possible answers! That�s kind of sad taking 3+ hours of my obviously busy day on this. >_< I got distracted, yes. I took a further 3 hours while watching tele last night to come up with the remaining 7 questions, after I got back from tennis with Emilia, BMYQT and Petter though. Petter caused a ripple effect [on BMYQT] with his deadly �batting� (I know that�s got to be the wrong terminology) techniques. I squirmed every time he�d hit one. See, this is what happens when you bottle up all your emotions inside. You get all stuffy and repressed and you take your anger out on� tennis! :-� I need a massage� The quiz I created was pretty tricky. Although I�m wondering how people sussed out that I was telling the truth about the mole near my belly button� They haven�t seen it and I don�t remember telling them. Might have been the way I worded the question� I knew it was too precise! *gives evil eye then laughs* Only BMYQT and Wheezle have done the quiz so far and Wheezle did quite well, as I expected though. Both of their scores reflect how much I thought they knew me anyway so it was good. It�s probably a stupid question but where are my other friends � yes I really do have more than two friends � besides studying and working? Won�t be surprised if Kay doesn�t do the quiz. She blocked my email because she thinks I send spam! lol. So untrue. I send things that mean something to me like a good joke. I told her to unblock me in case of emergencies but who knows� I want a massage� |
