- The Downtown Houston Tunnel System is a city under the city which connects seventy-seven buildings in the heart of Downtown. It is a great place to spent a hot summer day since it is air-conditioned. Houstonians can keep dry on those rainy days when they need to go from one building to another. The tunnels are filled with restaurants, shops, and other services.

- The MetroRail is the new light rail system that came to Houston only recently. It runs along Main street from Downtown Houston to the Texas Medical Center and Reliant Park. It is only 7.5 miles long but there are plans to expand it. There are tours that include both the tunnels and the rail system. For more information on these tours click here.
