Speech Glossary::Telepathy::/Jornal Entry/ //Thoughts// "Speech." *indescribable action* Chapter 4Ayla's eyes burst wide open as the young brunette made a quick glance about the room, only to spy the man who had been helping her earlier, they called him Slumber. She could hear the voices in side her head and yet one stood out to her, tears began to well up in her eyes, she felt like she was missing something. Her frail hand lifted from her bedside, clenching into a soft fist. Slumber blinked, very rarely was he confused, but the girl's actions seem to leave him without words. He was curious for whom she was reaching for since he was the only one in the room with her. //... Koen... Korbin... Masons...// Her mind wandered to thoughts of those three names, those names stuck out the most to her. //... Yavie... Mateo...// It seemed like these were very important names, maybe people she needed to find and that's when she suddenly turned to Slumber. She weakly pulled herself into a sit on the bed, her head hung low. "Am.... Am I.... al...lowe...d to go... outside?" Ayla gave a raspy cough and gripped her side before she looked to the blue haired assassin. Slumber blinked once before he rose, lifting a hand to the girl. "I don't see why not, follow me." Ayla stared for a moment at his hand before she slid hers into it and rose from the bed, pulling a blanket with as she draped it over her shoulders. Her hand quickly fell from his as he lead her from the medical room, leading her down a long hall filled with stain-glass panes of a multi-coloured spectrum. The two strolled past a room in which Slumber's nostrils filled with the scent of steamed rose petals. Sharp nails traced along Thexous's pale collar bone, a thin line of blood pulsed and slowly trailed down his skin, painting it crimson. She lay on the cold stone, her thin figure fitting between the candles. "Ah... I see you have remained just where I let you..." Amarra smirked, her lip curling around a bulging white fang, her lips crawling closer to his neck. "I knew you would return... there is a distinct bloodlust that is on your breath." He said softly as Amarra's tongue ran over a certain tender spot of his neck, causing Thexous to tense. "I'm glad you've come to recognize it." She gave a light laugh, before she bore her fangs against that goose bumped pale skin, sinking them into Thexous's neck, giving a hard suck to get the crimson liquid flowing. A sly whimper slipped from Thexous as his body fell numb and limp, but an arm had hooked the tub wall, keeping the boy afloat. This happened everyday but it was not a process that was not to get used to. Amarra's lips curled up into a smirk as she drank. "Here." Slumber held open the large hand-crafted door, it was in an elfish style of carving and the detail was indescribable. There were two doors that led to the outside from this entrance, they were identical and they had glass panes, just clear glass panes unlike the stained glass in the halls. Ayla's eyes fell bewildered on the beautiful garden. It was like a maze. In the center of the tall violet rose bushes, there was a giant fountain with a thick stone circle around the base; a stone path leading from it, with small nooks with stone benches along the path, small Mel and Maya trees behind the benches. Various other flower bushes were scattered around with splashes of color. "I...It is... so... beautiful..." She lifted a violet rose to her nose, taking a sweet sniff of it. She moved along the path, the white night gown she was given to wear, trailed behind her as she headed for the fountain. Her fingers slipped into the water as she slipped to a sit on the side of the fountain. Within the water were orange and violet fish. They were bout six inches long, a few were smaller. But to the brunette, the looked a lot like the Earthian Koi fish. A gentle wind blew past her, but her hair remained lifted. A moment past and the source became visible. He was tall, with dark, dark orange hair in a high pony tail, which fell to about his mid-neck. His eyes were a sharp scarlet and he had tanned fair skin, he was dressed in the same clothes as Slumber, a pair of tight pants, boots, a tight tank top with shoulder protectors and gloves, his clothes were dark red, where Slumber's were navy. "So... You are the infamous Ayla, the Key. My pleasure to meet you." Ayla just stared at him, her green hues widening as a blush passed over her cheek as he lifted her hand to his lips. Slumber gave a distracting cough as he crossed his arms, his iciy blue hues staring at the scarlet figure. "I see you are back from you mission, Kafei. Was it easy?" His crimson eyes traveled to Slumber as he released the girls hand, a smirk crossing his lips. "Of course." He laughed as he vanished again and Ayla just blinked as her hair fell back to her shoulders. She just gave a curious look to Slumber, who just rolled his eyes and shook his head. Ayla nodded and turned her attention back to the fountain as Slumber kept his blue gaze watching her. A faint whimper slipped through Thexous's lips as Amarra's fangs were removed from his neck. The two holes slowly began to heal as the heated air touched them. "Mmmmmmm...." She purred, her blood-red tongue flicking over her lips, savoring the taste. "Draconic blood, always so tart... and yet, sweet at the finish." The raven-haired draco blinked for a moment, tilting his head back a little to catch a glimpse of her in his dark hues. "Then why don't you drink Maeglin's... or maybe even Slumber's?" She gave a displeased hiss, upset that he would even suggest such a thing. "Nether taste right... Yours on the other hand is so addictive... so toxic..." Amarra draped her arms over his shoulders, her hands falling light against his chest. Her lips caressing the lobe of his ear, while the nail of her pointer finger drew circles around his chest. A soft pop noise came from her mouth as she released his lobe, shifting so she could move herself to get up. "Anyway, I must be getting dressed." Thexous spun around, his dark hues glancing over her before he stared into her eyes, a displeased look on his face. "But why?" Amarra's lips curled into a smirk. "Because, as much as I love walking around like this... I have some business to attend to." And with that, she turned and headed for the door, Thexous's dark eyes hypnotized by her graceful movements. "What kind of fish are these?" Ayla's green eyes watched the fish with great interest. Slumber rolled his eyes back, a pale finger tapping his nose, trying to think about their breed. "Ummmm... They are called Iko." She gave a soft, thankful nod, before moving into a lay on the flat stone base around the fountain, still playing with the fish. Slumber strolled over to the nearest bench, falling to a sit on it. The wind blew again, scattering various coloured leaves everywhere. A few falling onto Ayla, some onto Slumber. Her fingers continued to dance in circles around the surface of the water. The water began to glisten with the violets and oranges of the setting sun, which reflected on the leaves and her brunette locks, giving them the illusion of a soft, roaring flame. "The two of you make very good company for each other, It's almost as if I can hear a quiet conversation going on, but only the wind is whispering.... Just from watching you two, you both have a lot in common..." The voice came from behind them, towards the path. The blue assassin turned his head to find the raven-haired Maeglin, to whom he gave a roll of the eyes. Maeglin moved his way over to the fountain, taking a seat upon it, near Ayla. "Gai-- I mean, Earth, that is what you call it, right?" She raised her head a little, looking to Maeglin. "Yes." She replied vocally just after giving him a short nod. "What is it like?" Ayla gave him an odd stare followed by a blink, then a gentle chuckle. "There are a few places like this, but the rest is turning into mass population and disgusting cities. There are just too many people." A brittle sigh came from Ayla, and Maeglin gave a soft, guilty laugh. "That's kind of our fault..." Ayla blinked, her head tilting the best it could in confusion as she stared at the draco on the fountain. "What do you mean?" Maeglin turned his gold eyes to the darkening skies. "We used your Earth as a penal colony. Why do you think they were so smart and built things like the great pyramids? The generations just kept devolving into the slobs you know today, because of all the mixing of blood." She just kept quiet, a little taken back and surprised. Maeglin just kept smiling and gave Ayla a soft pat on the head. "Come now little one, and you too, Slumber. It's getting very dark." Ayla slipped off with a small bit of grace and Slumber just waved his hand. "Go on without me, Maeglin; show her to where she will be staying..." Maeglin just shook his head and waved for Ayla to follow, there was a quick grin passed from one draco to the other, Slumber glared at the raven-haired dragon. I just thought you'd want to be the one to show her.... after all.... A soft growl emitted from Slumber before he got up off the bench, storming off in the opposite direction of Maeglin and Ayla. The poor brunette got so confused before she remember Slumber mentioning something about where she was staying. "Am I not staying in the room I was in earlier?" He shook his head no. "Not at all. It was a medical room. The room I am to show is better accommodated to you." Amarra paused, she was now dressed in a black long sleeve turtle neck and tight black pants, a pair of knee high, four inch high-heeled stiletto boots on her feet; her obsidian locks cascading over her shoulders as she twisted the ends around her fingers. She spied the kitsune seated on her desk, the reds and oranges from the sunset playing on his skin. "Kafei, Did you deliver my message?" "Aye." She smirked as she moved to her tall, black puffy chair. "Good... Good..." Kafei couldn't resist but to laugh as he looked back to Amarra. "You should have seen the King's face!" He gave another sharp laugh. "It... was... priceless!!" She folded her hands, leaning her chin upon it as she glared at her assassin, whom quickly became silent. "Don't get so excited Kafei... And the blade?" Kafei paused for a moment. "Still with the princess." Amarra nodded, a hand falling onto a small black book on her desk. "All the pieces are falling into place." Maeglin and Ayla moved silently through the halls, her mind drifted to the pain on her lower torso, just under her belly button. Her hand lifted to it and she pressed lightly, it felt almost like a bruise. Maeglin made a glance to her as he opened the door. "Are you okay?" She replied with a small nod as she moved into the room. Maeglin following after her. "This is the room you'll be staying in until the final pieces makes their appearance." The draco gave a soft laugh. "Tomorrow, You and I will be heading into town. Slumber may join." Ayla blinked as she fell to a sit on the bed, looking around as she bounced into a stationary sit. "Why did you say those things to Slumber in the garden?" Her soft green eyes looked to the draco as he rested in a chair place beside the desk. A smile curled on his lips. "You will find out soon enough." She scowled a little at the advoidance of her question, but with a sigh, she decided to drop the subject. "Why do we need to go to town?" Her eyes spying the books on the one bookshelf, the trunk at the foot of her bed and then small desk, and last the nightstand table beside her. "I told you, you need to wait for the final pieces to show, who knows how long that might be? So, Amarra-dono gave me 3 anates (about $300.00) to buy you clothes as well as do some food shopping." He rolled his eyes at the thought of grocery shopping as he moved from the chair, heading in the direction that led him from the room. "Good night Miss Ayla." The door clicked closed and Ayla rolled to a lay on her bed, her eyes looking out the window and her hand cupping over her left shoulder, where a mark was burning into her skin. Feet dangled out the window as Amarra sat on the windowsill, watching the stars start to show. Soft footsteps were heard behind her and she tilted an ear to them. Slim arms encircled her waist and a smooth chest pressed against her back. "You amuse me Thexous." "Why is that?" She leaned her head back and tilted it so her forehead pressed against his head. "Just the way you act... the tone of your voice." She laughed boldly to herself. "Went I first found you, I never would have guessed you could have been so violent." He made a grumpy noise and let out an agitated sigh as Amarra's mind slowly began to wander as she thought of the young child who is now Thexous. *~The soft crackle and crinkles of leaves slipped out from under slow moving steps. In the distance, the flare of smoke and fire reflected in her orange eyes. Her ears twitched lightly as the snapping of twigs caught her ear. Her eyes circled around and fell to a small child with large black dragon wings and a small thin tail. His clothes were tattered and his shirt was torn down the middle. She could feel the hunger growing in the pit of her stomach and her fangs began to pulsate. She moved in the shadows and began to rapidly approach him; but as she got near, she saw a glowing symbol on his chest. Quickly, she pulled a little black book out from her pouch and shifted through various old, handwritten pages until she found a page full of symbols. The one the child bore was a cross that resembled nails and behind it was a sword with a flamed blade on it. She vanished and reappeared behind him, her fingers touch his sensitive wings. He spun around and fell backwards, his dark eyes staring fearfully at her. "Stand Little One." She said to him. Timidly he rose, his dark hair falling into his eyes. "What is you name, Little One?" "K-... Korbin... Dyce... He stuttered quietly. She brushed back some of her long obsidian locks as she looked back to the fire. "Was that your village?" This little Korbin gave a nod to her. "Unfortunate..." She said aloud before turning, deciding to spare the Draconian child. But before she could take even a step, his small pale hand grasped her black cloak. She raised her brow and looked down at him, and as if to read his mind, she replied to the look in his eyes. "A child would only slow me down, besides you don't want my influence." But his dark eyes continued to plead his silent words to her. A frustrated sigh slipped her slips and she knelt in front of him. "Korbin... A name too soft for an assassin..." She whispered aloud, her hand playing in his dark bangs. "Thexous shall be your new name if you choose to follow me." "Thexous..." He repeated softly, as if memorizing it in an instant, he then gave her a soft nod. "Good. Now keep up." But before she could take off, he grabbed her cloak again. "Wait.... What am I going to call you?" She blinked. "Seydan." She replied to him. //Master....// Little Thexous thought in the back of his head as he followed after the fast moving woman.~* Even after Maeglin had left, Ayla couldn't sleep and she wanted to slip from the room, but she couldn't go through the door so she moved to the window and peered out. It was about a seven foot drop to the ground and so she slipped onto the sill, and fell from the window into the soft darkness of the night. Before she had left, she found a long, dark brown cloak of which she slipped on to hide herself. The thing she wanted to do most was to sit in the garden she was shown earlier and think. Amarra gave a soft laugh as she spied the quick moving brown creature. See a vampire's eyes work differently then a human's and just a little better then an elf's but not better then a draco's, but as a vampire, she has incredible night vision. Watching Ayla move reminded her of Thexous, so she gave another small chuckle which made Thexous raise his brow before he picked up on what she was laughing about, having peered out the window to see the brown figure. "Why do you like reminisce like this?" He questioned lightly, but all he got was a laugh in reply. "Because the bloodlust in your eyes after the first time you killed something, was a valuable memory." He just rolled his eyes. Thexous remembered that night vividly. *~Thexous knew his Seydan was a vampire, so the boy would venture out into the woods during the day and bring her large deer like creatures called Ilsfawn. But one dark eve... "Seydan... You seem pale..." Thexous sounded a little worried as he watched her with a cautious eye. She gave a soft sigh as her hand played in the fire. "Ilsfawn can last a vampire in the wilderness for a while, but haven't you been curious why I head into towns and pubs?" Thexous always remember Seydan in pubs surrounded by drunken men, but he always figured it was because she was gorgeous. "I need humanoid blood. It can't always been animal..." Thexous rose and turned in the loose soil and before his Seydan could say anything, he was gone, quite skilled for a ten year old (Since she got him when he was almost six). The raven-haired boy returned a few hours later, a unconscious, nearly dead young man on his back and the color of blood red in his eyes. The carcass fell in front of his Seydan as he was heavily breathing. "Eat Seydan..." He whispered softly, the bloodlust of his lineage overtaking his senses as the crimson scent flooded his nostrils as she bit into the main artery, drinking the pleasurable liquid, it was lukewarm, but much easier to swallow then Ilsfawn. After she finished, she moved over to the trembling boy who had his back to her. "What is wrong my little one?" He pulled away from her a little as she put her hands on his shoulders, the smell of blood on her lips. "Was that your first kill?" He gave a soft nod. She about purred with joy. "Beautiful... Then those red eyes? The bloodlust?" Another nod came from him. "You've grown up so quickly with me, you've learned so much..." She draped her arms around his shoulders, her lips pushed against his neck. A chill flooded his body as he resisted his natural urge to tense. Her hot breath washed over his neck. His eyes slid shut, but before he could say anything, his Seydan buried her fangs into the artery in his neck. He gave a surprise noise and his body tensed. Her hands moved to pin down his arms to keep them from flailing. The red color drifted from his eyes as she drank. He soon after passed out because of the intense shock she caused his small body. He awoke from what seemed like hours. Thexous's first instinct forced him to look around to find his Seydan, only to lay his dark hues on her looking down at him, his head in her lap. "H...how long?" Her lips coiled into a smirk. "Hmmmm... About half an hour." His hand slipped up to his neck where two small bruises were, his eyes still on her face. "I've been waiting until you were old enough to bare my mark." His eyes widened a little as she leaned down toward him. "I have claimed you, and you are now mine." She placed a soft kiss on his lips.~* Ayla lay still on the fountain sill she was at earlier; Slumber had left the garden, at least to her knowledge. Taking a deep breath of the night air, she dipped her fingers into the cool water, her shoulder still stinging with a burning sensation. Her eyes slipped shut as she bathed in the moonlight. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she fell asleep in the warm night. "Why do you always get quiet or change the topic when I call you Tei?" The vampire nearly froze where she sat, leaned against him. She gave a soft sigh and turned a little, so she could look at his face. "What if I whispered your name, Korbin?" She said slowly, adding to the effect, cold chills running through his body and he soon became stiff and serious. He grabbed a hold of her chin, forcing her to look at him, the tips of his drawn talons digging into her skin. "Don't ever... Do that... Again." A soft whimper came from Amarra's lips. Her tongue slipped form her mouth and across a finger that laid over her lips. "Mmmmm.... Desirable. You should do this more often..." She closed the space between them, pressing her lips to his, one of the talon tips breaking her skin as she moved. Amarra turned and draped her arms over his shoulders, her legs around his waist as Thexous's hands fell to her hips, pulling her almost off the windowsill but snug to his frame as she breathed a soft moan into him. A few moments later, Amarra broke the kiss and pushed firm against Thexous. "Maybe soon you'll gain the nerve to do something... But now, we should probably head to bed; we have a lot of excitement in for tomorrow." Amarra slipped from his grasp and moved for the large wooden doors that connected her office to her room. Thexous's eyes followed her movements but then turned to the window. Without even a glance back, Amarra smirked, her fingers playing on the door's cravings. "Go and put the little miss in her room..." So with that, Thexous vanished from the room. Soft snores slipped from Ayla as she inhaled and exhaled. Thexous appeared behind her in what seem to be a black shadow. Ayla tossed a little but yet fell not from the fountain or into the water. The next thing to escape out of her mouth would cause two different people to freeze up. "Koen..." She murmured and Thexous paused in his movements toward her. //That... that name...// A tear dripped down his cheek and quickly he wiped it away. //What is this? Sadness, why do I feel sad when I hear this name?// Credits
