I received it in France in the end of April 2001. I went to get it at the importer with the Blake-blake diesel during the week-end of the 7th of May. The
engine is wrapped in a big plastic bag and placed
in a box of wood which does not look in good shape. I open the box and begin to search the other parts ordered at SPDC. I begin to suspect that the Box has been hit on the top because the left valve cover is damaged. This explains why the box was broken... I find the damper, the intake gaskets and ....ARGH! |
|
Maybe SPDC forgot them or, someone, after the hit on the box, has open the bag and throw away the broken gaskets surely placed on the top of the engine. The "série noire" that began with the H3423 Pistons ordered at Doug Herbert and never received, was going on. Though of this Day:
Well! beside that, all seems to be OK.

May the 19th 2001:
The engine is in the workshop.

Let's
move on more serious matters:
Engine have been opened and has lost his right head. How beautiful it is when it's new! |
