1. When flying into Orlando International Airport, the names of two approach procedures are "Minnie Two" and "Goofy Two".
2. Disney's agreement with Orlando and Florida gives the Company quasi-government authority. Disney formed the Reedy Creek Improvement District to exercise such power. Disney can implement its own schools, justice system, levi taxes, sale tax-free municipal bonds, build a nuclear power plant, and enforce its own building codes. The Reedy Creek Fire Department's motto is "Protecting the Magic."
3. Children having a birthday should stop by City Hall on Main Street and pick up a "Today is My Birthday" Button. Wear it and the Cast Members will go out of the way to make them feel special!
4. Magic Kingdom where the guests walk is actually the second floor of the park. There is an entire city or "utilidor" system underground. Utilidor is a combination of the words utililty and corridor. The utilidor houses offices, cast member break rooms etc. It also acts as a transporation hub. Apparantly, one time at Disneyland, Walt saw a Sheriff walking through Tomorrowland to get to Frontierland. Walt felt this ruined the illusion so he had the utilidors built at WDW.
