Yankee Trip

Last August our troop went to a Yankees game at Yankee Stadium. We went as part of a tour group out of Albany. Why Albany? Mr. Cosgrave's brother lives in Albany. We drove in a caravan to Mr. Cosgrave's brother's house and set up our tents. We then caught the bus to Yankee Stadium for the night game with the Chicago White Sox. As with all our Boy Scout activities, it rained - enough to get us wet, but the game went on. Our seats were in the "nose bleed" section of right field, just inside the foul pole. We cheered on the Yankees to a win, thanks to a two run home run by Alex Rodrigues. It was the only game the Yankees won in the 3 game series with the White Sox. We then took the bus back to Albany, back to our tents we had previously set up. We camped overnight, then headed home the next morning. It was a great trip to NYC, especially since we won!
