When our troop does year round camping, we have had campouts in the Adirondacks. One time when we went we summited Black Bear Mountain. Another time we summited Mount Marcy. The day we hiked out it snowed, in October. We got to the top alright though The view and scenory were amazing. We camped there. The stars were also amzing to see. I would recommend going out there. It just beautiful any time of year.
