Salleh's Place |
"What are you doing with your hand in your pocket?" Enazz asked me. "Checking to see if your family jewels are damaged?"
The situation had worsened. Far more than what i ever expected. I was chosen to single handedly save the universe from an evil as old as Barry Manilow. That means that the evil was as old as time itself.
"You know, things arounf here are really getting weird." Stats observed. "All this butt munching, its not right."
Then Xylia pointed to the other tables. "Look at that, fellas!"
It was an awesome sight. People were biting each others arses all over the place. Those that were bitten got up and bit others. It was, for want of a better word, contagious.
Even the hawkers were getting into the act. Henry, upon recoving from his Stats-inflicted bout of unconsciousness, had bitten Ansari. Ansari then bit the blind beggars. The beggars in turn bit those who refused to give them money (and for variety, those that did.)
We were shocked at the sight of what was happening. Such violence had not been seen since Taiwan's Parliament last presided. In other words, everything was going to hell on a silver platter.
"Guys, this is getting too strange. All this arse biting is not normal," said Enazz.
Things were definitely getting out of hand. I had to stop this cat fight.
"Hey! Hey!" I yelled. "Fara's right. There is something evil involved here."
I pointed towards the other tables. The entire crowd at Salleh's Place had become arse biting zombies. They were all in one group and they were headed in our direction. They also looked very hungry.
"Is this the bit where Micheal Jackson starts to sing 'Thriller'?" asked Shah.
The zombies lunged towards us so we just ran the hell out of there. As we ran to the parking lot, it became clear to us that the whole of uptown was zombified.
We reached the parking lot and headed for the lowest level. Crap! the zombies were there too.
"We're doomed," said Xylia.
Luck was obviously on our side as the door was unlocked. We bolted in and locked the door.
"Phewh, that was close," I said
It was then that we heard that strange sound. It was a single sound and it was repetitive.
"Tit tot tit tot tit tot tit tot tit tot"
"We're so screwed," said Xylia.
