| I have included this shot of my 80 year old mother Vi playing tennis. She is now 81 and still playing (nothing too strenuous of course but she still loves to play weekly). She is a vibrant lovely lady who enjoys life to the fullest. It proves that our senior generation can still enjoy a quality lifestyle. It makes me very proud and I can only hope the future will be as kind to me. |
| As a pet lover I find it most encouraging to see the many benefits being recognised with pet therapy visits in aged care facilities and other walks of life. The power of a warm friendly approach by man's "best friend" should never be underestimated. It transcends the need for words and touches the heart. I have personally witnessed the reaction to these visits and have seen nothing but positive results each time. The world would be a sadder place if not for our canine friends. |
