| 1992 - 2003 - Demi Purchased at the same time as Tisha, Demi was our first tri coloured collie. A more gentle and loving natured girl than Demi would be hard to find. She was a talker who expressed her contentment at every opportunity. I had a very special love for her. She was without a doubt my best mate and I treasured her. She was great friends with Duke (who you will meet on the next page) and as gentle as she was she let him know who the boss was. Sadly we lost Demi in July 2003 at age 11 years. Once again it broke our hearts to say the final farewell but the years of love and companionship this beautiful collie gave us will never be forgotten. Of all my collies none have ever expressed affection in quite the same manner as Demi, her nature was just outstanding. The picture above was taken shortly before we lost her. I think of her often. I have a memento of Demi which I have featured on my "Precious Keepsake" page. |
