SPELLING
Routine:
Every Monday the students take a pretest.
If they score 93% or higher (which is one wrong or less), they are excused from taking the word list test on Friday.
Weekly Responsibilities:
The students who passed the pretest, will choose 5 extra words that they will be tested on.
Students who passed the pretest will still be responsible for the 3 extra words given every week along with their chosen words.
Students who passed the pretest will still need to copy the original list of words into their spelling blank. They also need to be able to use the list words correctly in daily work (review sheets, daily edit, or other activities).
The Review Unit Test (every 5 units) will be taken by everyone.
