Paul De Angelis

This one is from Stone Mountain, Ga. (where I live,It's just outside Atlanta, Ga. USA). I just happened to find this old lady fishing with a bunch of litter strewn around the ground, so I tried to include the presentable parts and edit out her junk heap.

Here's a simple shot of a very special place. I used the same filters...the sky was muggy, overcast, and milky white so the P164 and P122 really helped it out. It was worthless, otherwise. Cokin saves the day!!!!! I left the reflections on the water to keep it from getting "muddy algea-green."
The photo is from Radha Kund at Goverdhan, Uttar Pradesh, India. I travel there every year and always bring Cokin....It's said to be the most holy place in the universe - a long story I can assure you.

Warm 028
I just bought a house and these orchids were in perfect bloom as I moved in. At first I regretted the brick wall but now I like the "yangness" of the bricks contrasting against the delicate flowers which only last a few days at best. It was overcast that day and they were in the shadows, so I used a warm P028 to brighten up the colors.
