Luis Anaya

I'm an amateur photographer, which I started in high school, left it, then I rekindled the love for photography after a long hiatus. I started looking for filters fairly recently, and because I wanted to used them on different cameras (still and video), I decided to use the coking filter systems so I would not have to buy filters for different lenses. I had the opportunity to go to Sydney, Australia for work. For that trip I carried a Pronea S APS SLR Camera, with a normal 30-60 mm lens and a small group of filters. I had this set up for a month, and was able to get to know the camera and the filters. The photos were not retouched in any way or form, only scanned from print.

Here we go with the technical details.

 SOH Bounty . Sydney Opera House with HMS Bounty, taken from The Rocks in Sydney. Pronea APS Camera, Cokin Sepia filter.

 Manly Beach, Manly, Australia. Pronea APS Camera, Sun Soft filter. It was a bright day, for some reason the photo came out with a pastel water color look. I think that the small APS negative + processing might have something to do with the effect.

Hopefully in the future I'll submit video shot with the filter on a consumer level digital video cam. Sunsoft works specially well on these because it "kills" the electronic look on the resulting video.
