I have lived in Tg-Mures, Romania since I was 2 years old. I was born in 1956. I graduated in 1975 and became an electrical engineer in 1981. I got my first camera from my grandpa, a Ljubitel 2 in 1968. Then began my love for the reflex cameras. Since the beginning of the 80's I have been member of the Tg-Mures Photographic Club, respectively of the Romanian Photographic Association. Although I do not have any talent for drawing, I feel the need to share my visual experiences. That's why I love photography.
If I can transmit feelings -behind the shapes- I know that my work wasn't in vane. I rarely do post-modifications, but I will applie the tightest cropping, even cutting the colors. I also avoid artificial lighting,I think that it would mean the loss of the original essence. I believe that beauty, harmony and tranquility are vital to us. Every drop of it can be an elixir for our wounds in our fight for survival.
