SCHOOL'S WEBSITE IS CHANGING ITS ADDRESS. WHY?

During the many years of the school's web site existence, many students and teachers contributed to its success.

It was not always easy. Our experience shows that the seemingly simple task of running a website involves certain efforts and procedures. Strict rules of preparing and posting the submissions, the need to learn HTML basics, and a number of other technical reasons eventually became the factors that affected the site's development, ease of maintaining its role and even the correspondents' enthusiasm.

At the same time, as part of the world information technology progress, serious advancements in the means and methods of making the work on the Internet more productive and goal-oriented opened some opportunities that were practically unavailable to the students in our rural environment before.

With all these factors in mind and by the webmaster's initiative, a number of alternative solutions were considered, and the decision was made to move our site to the new address capable of providing us with all the benefits of the advanced technologies.

The new web address (sites.google.com/site/chplshkola for the Ukrainian language version, and sites.google.com/site/chplschool for the English language version of the site) became operational on the 20th of September, 2009. The old address geocities.com/chpl_school will sease to exist on October 20th, 2009.

The e-mail address of the school remains unchanged: <[email protected]>.
