DECEMBER

Award Winners

The 2nd round of All-Ukrainian Students' Scholastic Awards competitions was held this December. 18 students of our school took part in it. The winners in categories are:

  • Mathematics: Kolomiets Kateryna (7 gr. - 3rd place); Kirichok Vladyslav (8 gr. - 1st place); Kirichok Andriy (11 gr. - 1 place);
  • Russian language: Zhuravel Volodymyr (9 gr. - 2nd place);
  • Informatics: Kirichok Andriy (11 gr. - 1 place);
  • Physics: Kirichok Vladyslav (8 gr. - 1st place); Mazura Yuri (11 gr. - 1st place).

    Tennis Tournament

    Regional tennis tournament took place on December 17th. Three students of our school were among the winners, and the school scored first among other schools.

    Conference Presentation

    Our school's Principal took part in the "Strategy of Educational Institutions Administration in the Age of Emerging Information Society" VI International Conference held in Chernigiv on December 7-9. His presentation "Distance-Guided Self-Education as a Tool for Solving the Problems of Rural Schools" was printed in the conference proceedings.


    NOVEMBER

    Best Linguists

    Regional round of Petro Jacyk Ukrainian Language competition was held in November. Among the participants from our school were: Prochorchuk Yaryna (6 gr. - 3 place); Kirichok Vladyslav (8 gr. - 2 place); Kirichok Andriy (11 gr. - 4 place).

    The Star of the Stage

    This November our school participated in the "Celebration of Stars" regional competition with a nice song performed by the 4th grade student.


    OCTOBER

    Prize Winners

    Members of our school's Students Group led by the teachers of Biology and Ukrainian Language were among the winners of the "Clear Springs Bound" All-Ukrainian competition.

    News from the Fields

    This summer students of our school were involved in growing the sugar beets. They earned 500 hr. recently transfered to the school's account.

    More Talents Expected

    This month our school received an additional computer and a music centre. As a result many students expressed their interest to try the role of entertainment stars.


    SEPTEMBER

    History Book Published

    This summer a history book was published, edited by the teachers of our school V.A. and T.V. Kirichoks. Many students participated in typing the texts.

    Boiler Problems Again

    Boiler problems in our school are not new, and we got more of them recently. From the old unfunctional boiler the metal frames were stolen, while the working boiler had its own problems. The renovation was sponsored by the head of the local agricultural firm, and we are really thankful for his help.
