Episode 11:

The government remains very concerned by Dr. Eggman's appearance. Eventually, they decide on 'enlisting' Sonic's help by setting up a fake Emerald siting to catch up with him. However, they instead catch the jewel thief Rouge the Bat.

She agrees to work for the government in exchange for them giving her immunity for her previous jewel 'acquisitions'. Partnered up with agent Topaz, Rouge is placed in a team who infiltrate Eggman's base. But where exactly do Rouge's allegiances lie?

Episode 12:

Japanese title: All Out Attack on Eggman's Base! (pt. 1)
English title: Beating Eggman (pt. 1)

Tails, Amy, Chris and his friend go in search of a new Chaos Emerald, testing out the X Tornado's 'X Cyclone' mode. In the meantime the government prepare for a final assault on Eggman's base. Rouge leads the group, but the President's attempts at capturing Sonic and forcing him to co-operate prove unsuccessful.

Meanwhile, Eggman discovers that Tails and co. are after a new Emerald, so he brings out one of his robots, Fun Fun, to try and snag it first. It all comes down to a fight between the wind-generating Fun Fun and Tails' X Cyclone! Will Sonic get there in time to help him out?

Episode 13:

English title: Beating Eggman (pt. 2)

Sonic arrives to help Tails fight Fun Fun! Although he's successful, Eggman manages to snatch the Emerald and make an escape. Sonic and co. follow him in the X Tornado to get it back! While the attack on Eggman's base is underway, Knuckles stows away on a military jet and drops in on Rouge's team. They join forces and plant explosives in the base's power generator, but things don't exactly go to plan.

Sonic meanwhile catches up with Eggman, but has to fight E-18 'Guerra-Hard' to get the Emeralds back. Unfortunately for Sonic, the robot is powered by both of Eggman's Emeralds!

Episode 14:

Japanese title: Chase After Hero Sonic!
English title: That's What Friends are For

After Eggman's defeat, Sonic has suddenly become world famous! The president however, barely got a mention in the press. In order to get re-elected, the president's aide decides that holding a swanky party and having Sonic as the guest of honour is the best way to improve the president's image.

Sonic, on the other hand, has a previous engagement. After meeting Helen, one of Chris' classmates, Sonic promised to take her to an island she wanted to visit but couldn't due to being wheelchair-bound. Sonic, being the big softie he is, decides to keep his promise to Helen rather than go to meet the president. The president's aide isn't willing to give up though, and enlists the army, navy and air force to capture Sonic!

Episode 15:

Japanese title: Egg Fort Invasion!
English title: Skirmish in the Sky

Now that they can go outside without fear of being captured, Tails, Amy and Cream set off to go shopping at Station Square with Chris and Ella. They don't get what they were planning on though, as everyone keeps staring at them, and soon they can't get a moment's peace.

Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman readies his revenge for having his base destroyed! Launching his new flying base, he readies an attack on Station Square! Sonic arrives in the nick of time, but how can he reach his enemy in the sky?

Episode 16:

Japanese title: Shoot for the Sunken Boat in the South Sea!
English title: Depths of Danger

After Sonic defeated Eggman's new flying fortress, no one was sure of what happened to him. It turns out that Eggman is biding his time underwater, waiting for the military to pass him by. Meanwhile, Sonic and co. travel to the beach and on the way find that a Chaos Emerald is lying in the depths of the ocean. Setting out to find it, they come across a sunken ship that was said to contain a legendary treasure.

However, that's the least of their concerns as Eggman attacks with a squid robot! How can Sonic defeat it when he can't swim?

Episode 17:

Japanese title: Knuckles! Iron Fist of Anger!
English title: The Adventures of Knuckles and Hawk

Knuckles, desperately wanting to return home to get back to Angel Island, searches around for Chaos Emeralds. On his travels, he finds a man named Hawk in trouble. After saving him, the two form an unlikely friendship, but part ways. Later, Knuckles gets word that Hawk wants to meet him.

Soon, Knuckles finds that Hawk was being held prisoner by a gang of thugs. After Knuckles once again helps him to escape, Hawk reveals to Knuckles that he has a Chaos Emerald! He offers it to Knuckles, but one of Eggman's robots, the Lady Ninja, intercepts them.

Episode 18:

Japanese title: Huge Shoot-out on the Savannah!
English title: The Dam Scam

Flying over the Savanah, Sonic, Tails and Chris are confronted by Eggman in his flying fortress! Sonic manages to cause it to crash, but in the process the X-Tornado is damaged and crashes. Sonic is separated from Chris and Tails, and Eggman sends out his gorilla robot to find them whilst they're off guard.

Chris and Tails soon discover that a dam is being built under somewhat dubious circumstances. Tails notices that the local animals are being turfed out of their homes, and remembers back to the time before he knew Sonic. Tails always got bullied by the other animals because of his mechanically-minded ideas. Tails later met Sonic, who didn't make fun of him for what he was and became his friend. Tails decides to help the animals out, but how?

Episode 19:

Japanese title: King Boo of the Old Castle
English title: Sonic's Scream Test

Whilst Chris' movie star mother is shooting a film at an old castle, Sonic and co have been brought along with him to see her. However, it isn't long until odd things start happening. Soon, ghosts appear and kidnap Chris' mum. In trying to find her, everyone but Chris and Amy are abducted by the ghosts!

A mysterious hourglass that Sonic picked up seems to be linked to the ghosts, but can Amy and Chris decipher what it means before they're caught too?

Episode 20:

Japanese title: Combat Mission! Egg Fort II
English title: Cruise Blues

After having several run ins with the diabolical Eggman, Sonic and co. go on a relaxing holiday. Well, it would be a relaxing holiday if it wasn't a cruise. Sonic, unable to swim and trapped in a confined space goes completely stir crazy, looking for any way to get off the boat.

Meanwhile, tired with his flying fortress being constantly damaged, Eggman prepares his replacement, the Egg Fort II! What can Sonic do to stop it when he's trapped on a boat?
