	To watch the artistry of a juggler at work. To admire the balancing and timing of actions. To see the precision and placement and to know that one fall or one catch can bring the art of performance down or up.


	Some of these performances go unnoticed every second of the day throughout the World's financial institutions to keep the progressive nature of the commercial world up in the air. These are the artists within finance who ensure the supply of the jugglers tools, the paint, the canvas, the

marble to carve, the ballet shoes, the theatres, the lighting and the

paper on which the early designs for this BIG web site were written.

	On life's money-go-round :

BIG members work for money but as many are employed on a project basis there are gaps in earning. Several who survive in art do so by becoming well versed in juggling money - often in small amounts. Winning a Grant one month and working evenings behind a bar the next, is not unusual. Sadly, many art colleges do not teach THIS 'history of art' nor the ways to work around it.

As BIG is an artist-led group, its members know most of the ups and downs of making money in a creative career and we try to help all talented artists to avoid being penniless in a garret.
