The Dance Pages of Estelle Souche A very rich and personal site. It's the kind of site you workthrough slowly; the treasures are hidden beneath a list of topics. There's history here, and a photo gallery, information on companies and dancers--"you choose," as Ms. Souche puts it.
Cyberdance  A very comprehensive and easy to use site.  A list of everything from ballet companies to home pages.
Voice of Dance, all about dance in San Francisco
Dance Links The first collection of dance links, hence its title. This is a
                  very comprehensive list.

Ballet.Co.A really truly online magazine with news, interviews, features,
postings. Mostly, though not exclusively, about dance in the U.K
Culturekiosque Another online magazine, this one from Paris, in three languages (French, German,English). Calendar of events in  Europe, reviews, many of Paris Opera Ballet, and interviews.
Ladanse French site (still being built) obviously intended to be a web center for dance in France. Will  have an English component, but right now it's just in French.
Russian Classical Ballet Articles, reviews, photographs. More than I thought I'd be able to find aboutRussian ballet written in English.
Tom Parson's Dance Pages These pages contain, among other things, the FAQ's (Frequently AskedQuestions) for alt.arts.ballet (the most comprehensive newsgroup for ballet and dance). Good basicinformation on dance history, technique, etcetera.  While you're there, be sure to read "Confessionsof a Ballet Junkie."
Leigh Witchel's Dance Pages. There aren't too many dancers who write. dancer/choreographer/writer(and Ballet Talker) Leigh Witchel has a collection of interesting and thought-provoking essays aboutdance (many about  ballet).
Dance Magazine An online supplement to the magazine we all know and love. There are reviews here that aren't in the print version, and their calendar is The Source. (The links selection is good, too.)
DanceArt  An almost dizzying number of activities are offered here, mostly aimed, it seems, atdancers and teachers..  There seem to be about a dozen message boards, each aimed at a specific type (under 13s, men who dance); a chat room; downloadable art; advice columns; links to links, and
more "activities" than we've had time to try.1
