Councils are statutory bodies, that are formed from players of AAW, and their purpose is make the realm even better place. Councils work in co-operation with imms, and are selected for a fixed time period. The office building of councils is located at Grand Avenue in GC. Currently only the one council exists, namely the High Council

To become a councillor: During the term, councils can recommend new members as they find necessary. In order to become legal, these appointments have to be sealed by imms. Candidates for councils should fulfil following

1. Must be well-known player of AAW and a character of high moral
2. Must have played up to level 70.
The council may however make an exception in special cases if the candidate is otherwise competant.
3. Shall not be multi of an existing member of council.

Primary function of council is to work as judical system for AAW. Council passes judgement on cases according to the laws of AAW. How council acts and what its resposibilities are is defined in the constitution. Council also works as legislative body. It can make decisions concering

• acts
  
• reforms for MUD
  

and can give recommendations concerning

• rules
  
• mud policy
  
• other things that are found important
  

The procedure for this:

Each member of High Council has one vote in all voting topics that are to be brought up. Vote options: yes, no, empty, absent. Decisions shall be taken by majority vote of all the members of High Council. In case of votes going "50-50", the chairman's vote counts.

(note that even though not too many files exist it doesnt mean that the council hasnt been active)
