There are many sources available which will give people who wish to attain a better understanding of
what motivates Irish republicans to follow their ideals. The conflict in Northern Ireland is probably
one of the most documented struggles anywhere in the world. Unfortunately the struugle was not only a
military and political one, but also a propaganda war. Propaganda as you know is the elements of misinformation
and downright lies, and the British government and its agencies practised this black art well. However
if you wish to get a Republican perspective of the struggle and its history, Sinn Fein provides a comprehensive
reading and resources list, which is documented below. All of the material can be sourced through the
