Mary
Lou McDonald is married to Martin Lanigan and currently lives in
Castleknock. Educated in Trinity
College, Dublin, the University of
Limerick and Dublin City University Mary Lou has studied English
Literature, European Integration Studies and Human Resource Management.
Having worked as a consultant
for the Irish Productivity Centre and a
Researcher for the Institute of European Affairs Mary Lou
is presently
employed as a Trainer in the Partnership Unit of the Educational and
Training Services
Trust.
Selected as Sinn Fein's general election candidate for Dublin West Mary Lou is involved
in a wide range of community campaigns in the area including campaigns for improved housing, childcare
and transport. She is also a member of Fingal/South Dublin County Council Liffey Valley Management Committee.
