Nicky Kehoe
was born and reared in Cabra and still lives in the area with his wife Marie and two children. He
works in the construction industry and has been involved in community development in Cabra throughout
his adult life.
Elected to Dublin Corporation in June 1999, Councillor Nicky Kehoe has already
made his mark as he works tirelessly to improve the quality of life of the people of the city. He is
a member of Dublin Corporation's influential Economic Development, Planning and European Affairs Committee.
He is very active on many issues important to the people of Dublin such as the housing crisis,
traffic chaos and crime.
Nicky is a founding member of the Cabra Community Against Drugs network
which is working successfully to tackle the drugs problem through innovative programmes. He is also
involved with Naomh Fionnbarra GAA Club and is involved with its development committee, who look forward
to seeing their new multi-purpose sports facility and gym opened soon. The new Docklands Development
and the North Inner City Development Plan are high on Nicky's agenda.
Nicky has demonstrated his
commitment to Dublin over the years and has shown his ability to work in the interests of all of his
constituents. He has the energy, dedication and enthusiasm for making Dublin a better city for people
to live in.
