Fantastic Mr. Fox reviewed by Sukko (Rang IV)

My favourite character was the badger because he always helped everyone he met on the way - well only the good guys! I particularly liked the part when Fantastic Mr. Fox said we will turn this hole into a village. I disliked when his tail was shot off. I would change this part because he got sore and it made him weak. I would say that they shot him and missed but they kept on shouting down the hole and made the foxes more afraid.

I would say this book is for Second Class upwards but even though First Class might not be able to read it, someone would be able to read it for them. It is hilarious at times and enjoyable to read.

My Pet by Gizzmo (Rang IV)

I hav a puppy . He is brown. I have had him for four weeks. He is my first dog. In two more weeks I will feed him puppyfood. Now he gets milk from Gizzmo his mammy. I think he got his colour from Sheeba his grandmother.

He is learning to walk. He walked outside under Daddy’s bike. He is very fat. He squeals when he is on the cold tiles. When you put your finger up to his mouth he bites it and sometimes he licks it.

I would like...... by Rapter (Rang IV)

I would like to have a pet rabbit. I would like a pet rabbit because I could train him to do tricks. I would also like one because they are soft and cuddly and cute and furry. I would teach him to chase and bite anyone I do not like or who annoys me.
 He would run after them and bite them on the backside and they would never annoy me again. I would give him home grown carrots and lettuce from my garden. I would let him graze on my football pitch. He would be better than a lawnmower! Sometimes I would use his food to play tricks on people. 
I would tie it to their pants. I would call him Gnasher.

Come in Marvin - A Log Jog reviewed by Sabu (Rang IV)

I was puzzled when Sam and Laura took a torch to see in the haunted house while it was bright. I felt sorry for Sam because Laura was always bossing him around. The funniest thing about this story is when Sam said he was going to fall through the floor into a pit of monsters. My favourite character in this story is Laura because she is very funny.

Tina’s brilliant idea - review by Gizzmo (Rang IV)

The part  I did not like about the  story  is  when   he   went  after  the  dog  bowl  and  they  said he  was  like an  Exocet   missile .         

The  part  I  liked  about  the  story  is  when  the  dog  bowl     landed  on  the  cops  head.  The   shocking  part  about  the  story  was  when  they  were  called  into  the  station  even  that  it  was  the  cops  fault.

The   funny  part  about  the  story  was  the  dog  was  so  fast  he  could  go  a  hundred  miles  an hour.   I  wonder  why  she  was  giving  so  much  money  to  Charlie  to  exercising  the  dog.

I   wonder  will  Charlie  give  Tina  some  money?

The Ghosts Playground (Rang IV)

On   halloween   night   a gang of kids saw a  scary place that they had never seen before  . They  saw blood on the gate.

A sign  said ‘Who ever comes in, never comes out to live another day.’ So being brave they went in.  They thought it was a playground. They saw something going across the courtyard and then  they   realised  it was really a graveyard.

Then  the  devil  popped up  from behind one  of the  tombstones.
The devil said  ‘ You didn’t heed my warning ….now you shall pay the price’   He ran after them with his devil’s weapon and he tried to kill them with it.

They were terrified . The ground shook and  as the devil cast a spell on the graveyard a big bang was heard . The ground began to open  and all the dead arose. The  zombies and mummies started to chase the children.  One of the zombies turned into a warewolf when the full moon shone brightly down onto the ground.

Snakes appeared and tried to bite the children. They ran for their lives towards the gate but it was locked and bolted. The devil laughed in the background.’ I TOLD YOU, you would never escape  from ME. Now it is time for you to join me in the dead zone, in Hell  . HA HA haaaaaaaaaaa ’

Suddenly the moon disappeared and the monsters fell back in their graves. The devil’s power faded . Before their eyes the locks fell off and the gate opened .   They escaped but in the distance they heard him call ‘  I will be back and next year you won’t be so lucky’

The night of horrors was over and the graveyard was never seen again.

The Monster Manual is a really good book. It show you what to do when you are with a monster. My favourite monster is the Slime Ball. He goes in to your body and eats all your insides. The very first thing he eats is your heart.

The characters in this book are Lenny, David and Richard. Lenny is the only girl in the story. The two others are boys. David is the bravest. I liked it because it was exciting and adventurous. It took me four days to read. It is written by R.L. Stein.

ninja writes about Cullen 2: the Barbarian Returns

The boy named Cullen was an adventurous character in the book. It was set in the future, in America. A little boy got his characters out of his computer and they saved him from this gang of dangerous men. It was illustrated by Geo Parkin and printed in Great Britain. I did not like the part where the boy was stuck in the shed. I enjoyed reading this book. I would say it is brilliant and I would give it ten out of ten.
