What do you hunger for in your life? This Christmas we adapted the prayer service in Alive-O 6 and presented it to our parents and extended families - a packed house as our Christmas Play. We even had a great granny in our midst! The boys sang and presented this play with meaning , energy and lots of fun. We had a guest appearance from some ladies long gone from Stradbally - the Mercy sisters and it was enjoyed and appreciated by all. They say a picture tells the true story so here are some of our "moments." The parents were given programmes specially made by their own child and the performance has also been captured on video!!
Last Friday The Metamorphic Theatre Company came to Stradbally and all three local schools got together to enjoy a wonderful performance of an original work called U GO I GO , What an entertaining , energy-filled and enjoyable experience for us all.
Here are some scenes from the play and later some of the children's comments. The performance was followed by some drama workshop activities facilitated by the troupe who were multi-talented. The girls' school was extremely proud as one of their very own past pupils was the beautiful american and automated Tracker Barbie!
